Anniversary

Tomorrow is our 20th Anniversary. Since it's on a Wednesday (work and church pretty much take up the whole day) this year, we went out to lunch together yesterday to celebrate. We left the girls home to order in pizza since they didn't have school, so they were happy. It was so nice to go out with just the 2 of us. We had a great lunch at Red Lobster and then did a Wally World and Sam's trip. I know it's not romantic, but it was really nice with just us 2 talking and sharing and being together.

Anytime I can be alone with my man, is a good time!!

  1. Sounds good to me. We spent our 10th anniversary in a meeting at a church out of state, so this year we were sure to get a babysitter and go out to dinner ALONE. It's always nice to get out for some alone time...doesn't really matter where.

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

  2. Happy Anniversary!

At times, church life can pretty much suck the life out of romance. On our 25th anniversary we did a - - - funeral! I'm so glad that you aren't doing that today! :)

  3. Happy 20th!!!! Last year, we spent our anniversary apart, I was in Romania. Since it is in the summer, that happens a lot.

This year is our 25th....I have been hinting (quite hard) for my kids to throw us a party like I did for my parents....we'll see if it happens!
