Fruit of the Spirit

Our Ladies Bible Study is doing Beth Moore's "Living Beyond Yourself" which is on the Fruit of the Spirit.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galations 5:22-23 NIV

My prayer is that God will fill every inch of me with His Spirit and that the Fruit will be evident in my life. "If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him." Luke 11:13 NIV I think this verse tells us God is more than willing to fill us.

Thank you God.

  1. Yep, you really, really, really won! Woo hoo, Cathy!

I grinned a big grin and said "Good Job" when Cam pulled your name. =0)

I was wondering how long it would take you to find the post announcing you as the winner! Now you gotta go buy two gifts though. Get on it, Woman! Don't forget to email me your address.

  2. I LOVE this Bible study! It's my absolute favorite and it's because I need it so much. I've done it several times and I totally could do it again and I know God would use it to change me some more.

I want to say enjoy it, but I know it will probably hurt some. The blessing is that your fruit will be better on the other side of the study. ;-)

  3. there are some fruits that are just growing so great in my life and some that need so much water. I want to be fruitful in every area. Praying for this.

  4. Happy Blogiversary Cathy. I am so happy I met you in blogland.
I hope your daughter had a great birthday and I was pleased to hear that your other daughter's date went well.
Thanks for sharing this scripture today.

  5. Yay! You did it!

I'm loving the scrolling buttons, Cathy. Good job! Glad to know what I explained what 'understandable' and 'doable'. Yay!!!

  6. We started back Bible Study today too. Sounds like you are doing a great study. I am so thankful that we live in a country where we can do it openly and freely!
