If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Fruit of the Spirit

Our Ladies Bible Study is doing Beth Moore's "Living Beyond Yourself" which is on the Fruit of the Spirit.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galations 5:22-23 NIV

My prayer is that God will fill every inch of me with His Spirit and that the Fruit will be evident in my life. "If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him." Luke 11:13 NIV I think this verse tells us God is more than willing to fill us.

Thank you God.

  1. Yep, you really, really, really won! Woo hoo, Cathy!

I grinned a big grin and said "Good Job" when Cam pulled your name. =0)

I was wondering how long it would take you to find the post announcing you as the winner! Now you gotta go buy two gifts though. Get on it, Woman! Don't forget to email me your address.

  2. I LOVE this Bible study! It's my absolute favorite and it's because I need it so much. I've done it several times and I totally could do it again and I know God would use it to change me some more.

I want to say enjoy it, but I know it will probably hurt some. The blessing is that your fruit will be better on the other side of the study. ;-)
