Kelli's Painting

Kelli is taking 2 different art classes this year and one of them is painting. She has always told me she couldn't paint, but I think she's awesome. So does her teacher. Anyway, she had a project due Friday, but she talked the teacher into letting her turn it in on Tuesday, because she had a little more she wanted to do to the picture.

Here she is working in her room

Here you can actually see her working on the painting. The top is a photo from the internet and the bottom is her painting. Here it is after it's finished showing both the picture and her painting.
Here's a close-up of the painting. If you click on the picture you can enlarge it to really see it better.

Now, I have no intention of asking if a mother can be proud, because this mother is very proud of her daughter and her awesome talent!

  8. This is the first time I have visited your site. I love your personal outlook. I need to put it into practice also. I love hopping from one Christian blog to another because they really inspire me to believe in myself. I have started a "Christian" blog, but it is still maturing. I've only been blogging since September, and when I see Blogs like yours, Free Spirit and others, I feel so inadequate. The precious followers I have keep telling me to hold on and don't get discouraged, but I want so much to make a difference, by touching hearts like y'all do. Everytime I come across a blog like your and the others like it, I just tear up because they touch me som much.

Your daughter is a beautiful girl with a beautiful talent. I don't have an artistic bone in my body.

Come by and chat with me some time.
