I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do. It's one I've heard since I was a little girl I think. I remember a lot of these people singing it too. So many of them have gone home to be with the Lord and some day I'll get to hear them again up in Heaven. I remember when we were younger my mom and dad used to take us to hear some of these people sing. I loved them. And it seems we always had a record playing at our house with the Goodman's or the Rambo's or some others playing. This brings back so many memories for me and I hope it does for you too. Because really, where can I go, but to the Lord.
That video made my day! I have always loved the song, but the video made me smile for several reasons:

3 - As much as most people have changed, Vestal Goodman always looked the same! (even in what I assume is a picture of her when she was young - she still had all that hair!)
I really need to peruse YouTube more...
That was great seeing all those old pictures. I wish I had been brought up listening to them. The song was wonderful.
