2010 Project 365 Week 9

Click here to join in on the fun with Project 365.  I have kinda slim pickin's this week.  For some reason I just have had very many times of taking out my camera.  But I'll show you what I got and then why don't you click up over there and see everyone else photos.  It's always a lot of fun.  And better yet, why don't you join in with us.  According to Sara, it's never to late to start.

Here's a picture of my youngest daughter's room.  Never mind it's a little messy.  I just wanted you to see her bright green walls.  Currently this is her favorite color.  Let me tell you when the sun shines into her room it's blinding!  But she loves it, so therefore I love it.  I love for my kids to be able to have their rooms the colors they want, well within reason anyway.  They do the painting so it's okay with me.  The oldest wanted hers bright red, but when I told her that was fine, but she had to paint it back to white before she moved out, she decided maybe she didn't want to do that after all.  We figured it would take a lot of work to cover up a bright red.  So hers is white, but she has one wall covered with book shelves and the window and then her other walls are covered with posters and her artwork, so I think the white really works better for her.  She seems to like it, so as I said before, therefore I like it too.

Yep, it's snowing some again.  You can't really tell here, but it was all melting a lot but it keeps snowing on and off this week.

  1. Ella's room used to be that color before she went pink crazy! Now it is bright pink. I am with you on the paint, if they like it then why not?
Maybe the snow will stop soon! I am ready for sunshine!

  4. That green sure is bright... I always have a hard time picking colors for walls... seems like such a permanent thing for me...I guess I could ask your daughter for color suggestions.

  6. I had to do a double take because of your first snow picture - I thought it was the foam made by waves on a beach!!? I guess I'm ready for winter to be over to and thinking of someplace warmer!

  8. We certainly HAVE had enough snow! My snowbanks are soooo tall, I can barely see pulling out of my driveway... fortunately it's not a busy place!

Cathy~ My daughter Amanda painted her room a colonial blue with stenciled stars in swirls up near the top of the wall. It's actually pretty neat... and I haven't painted over it although she's been out of the house a while~
someday ... just not ready yet :)
    *Have a gentle week*

  9. Hi, Cathy~

What an awesome color your daughter picked out for her room! There should be no unhappy days in there!

  11. My room when I was growing up was as yellow as that one is green. Everyone did a double take when they walked in, but I LOVED it!

  12. I love the green! I'm not sure that I could stand it in a large room but maybe a small one (the smallest bedroom in my house is painted Disney red - shocker!).

I really like the barn picture. I have never lived on a farm but I have a thing for red barns!

Snow...sigh...it's predicted for tomorrow and Wednesday here but Sunday is should be sunny and 65! Ah, winter in the South!
