Great answers! Especially the Disney one! If you love Disney too, you should consider participating in our Destination Disney meme, that I host on Mondays, along with another friend. :) We're trying to get more participants to join in.
ReplyDeletehow did I know that you would never tire of Disney World!!! :)
ReplyDelete#1 sounds really good! And next time you go to Disney World, give me a wave!

I hear you on the take a walk part. I am just taking my hand at running. I have done it 2 days in a row and I am very sore! Do it for yourself! You deserve it!
ReplyDeleteThat recipe sounds so good...all that cream soup has got to make it wonderful. I am pretty sure its not low cal : ) Course, the best things never are!
ReplyDeleteWe love Disney too...its been a while and I'm ready for another trip.
Congratulations to your graduates!
I wanna hear more about the story of your great grandmother!!!! wow!
ReplyDeleteI almost put Disney down too, but in my world, that's a given! :)
I said Disney as well, only Disneyland as opposed to Disney World. Maybe because I've only been to Disneyland haha.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your daughter's graduations.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is a pastoral intern right now so I am also learning what it means to be a pastor's wife.
Great answers!! I love Disney too and I would love to go back!
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother was a bride, widow, and mother within a year as well. Her husband was shipped off to WWII shortly after their honeymoon. He disappeared over Sicily three months later. I don't know if he even knew that he was an expectant father prior to his disappearance. :( I believe it was after my aunt was born that he was declared dead rather than MIA. Poor grandma....she outlived three husbands.
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!!
I can't dance either. Not. A. Bit. Every time I go to a wedding, I wish I could. Just a little would be good.
ReplyDelete-FringeGirl
Someday we'll get to DisneyWorld.
ReplyDeletePatient and kind would do a lot for the world.
Thanks for sharing your random.
Wow - your poor great-grandmother! Life was so hard way back when!
ReplyDeleteYour in-a-pinch meal sounds yummy!
thx 4 coming by...
ReplyDeletewasabi: thick green root of the wasabi plant (Japanese use in cooking)...tastes like strong horseradish but the after effects don't linger; in powder or paste form it is often eaten with raw fish or steamed sushi
I especially like it on a thickly sliced chicken sandwich or honey-baked ham sammie
I eat it also on california rolls with pickled ginger...yummy!
Some asked about my great grandmother. My great grandfather was a blacksmith in Kentucky and shortly after being married he was kicked in the head by a horse and died. My grandfather was born after he died so he never met his own father. My great grandma later remarried and the family has grown from there.
ReplyDeleteMy grandpa had a tin type picture of my great grandpa in front of his blacksmith shop and my dad had it blown up into a large photo hanging in their house. It's not very clear, but you can sure tell by his stance that he's family. The men in our family all stand the same way. lol
I'll try to get a copy of the photo sometime and show everyone.
