Destination Disney

This is my 3rd week to participate in the Disney Destination Meme hosted by Heidi at Reviews & Reflections

Here's this week's prompt:

With Toy Story 3 opening in theaters this past Friday, I’ve got Toy Story and Disney-Pixar on the  brain.  So, I thought we’d throw in an unplanned topic for this week ---
What is your favorite Disney-Pixar film?
Have you had opportunity to meet any of your favorite Disney-Pixar characters at a Disney park? (If so, we hope you’ll share pictures, as well as where you lucked into the character meet & greet.)

I went Friday night (opening night) to see Toy Story 3.  It was incredible!  I totally loved it!!  Now as to my favorite Disney-Pixar film I'd have to say it's probably Toy Story 3, Cars and Nemo.  Yes, I realize that's 3 movies, but it's my blog and that's my answer.  lol

Here are some pictures of some Pixar characters we saw or visited on our 2006 trip.  There are pictures of the girls with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible and Frozone from "The Incredibles" and also Kerri with Mater and Lightning McQueen from "Cars" and both girls with Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head from "Toy Story 1, 2, & 3".  The Incredibles and Mater were at Disney Hollywood Studios at the Animation Studios and Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head were at Pop Century.

  1. I am so looking forward to seeing Toy Story 3! I'm *almost* jealous that we didn't get to meet the incredibles when we were at Disney World.

  2. Thanks for playing along this week!
Loved all the pics. Here we have gone at least monthly to the parks for years and realized we have no pics with the Pixar characters! Just goes to show how much there is to do at Disney - every trip can be different.

  7. Awesome post, as always, Cathy! Love your pics. I need to get my post up, but want some pics from our 2005 trip - which means digging through the overused and falling apart album. Hopefully tomorrow!

  12. Gosh, there are so many good Disney movies...hard to choose.
Toy Story is definitely one of the best. I actually love Princess and the Frog too. Very entertaining.
