We probably won't take a regular vacation, but we're hoping we can add a couple days on when we take our oldest to college in Florida! Maybe we can sneak a day or two at the "Happiest Place on Earth" (at least to me), Disney World!! I hope, I hope. I'm having withdrawal. I haven't been to Disney since 2008 and I really really need to go back! lol I just really want to see this guy!

You think you're having withdrawals? I havent been to Disney since 2000!!!! I just got even more depressed typing that out! We were planning on going this summer... but then our air condition just went out - so there goes our vacation money... BIG sigh...
ReplyDeleteYou MUST go even if it's just for a day. We are hoping to go back next year so we are saving up. This summer we will go stay with my MIL and have a few day trips here and there.

We just got back from a Disney trip (disguised as a business trip). LOVE Disney. I hope you're planning to participate in the Destination Disney meme on my blog - we're starting back up on Monday with all new topics! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool how Disney can be a place that you're never too old to enjoy! My hope for the summer is plenty of sunshine and 2 boys who make it thru without fighting every day! No vacation, but little trips here and there. Enjoy yours!

ReplyDeleteThis summer...quickie trip to AL (which is okay since there was that whole THREE WEEK trip in April/May), summer camps for Andrew, Pigeon Forge with the in-laws over Labor Day, and whatever else I can fit in. Actually, we travel mostly in the fall because I just can't tolerate summer travel.

I'm putting my feet up for a few days! We have two very senior dogs... and will probably plan shorter trips here and there.
Disney is such a joyful place... and the most beautiful park... so wonderfully maintained and just lovely ~ hope you get to "drop in" on Mickey!

ReplyDeleteWe spent a week at the beach in May since hubs is traveling much of the summer and my girls are working. I'm going to SC to see them sometime in July and that's like a vacation to me : )
Hubs and I are planning to take a trip in Sept. since I have, ahem, a big birthday then.
We asked the boys if they wanted to go on a cruise, go to Europe, or go to Disney World, and they said DW. This was just a couple of years ago when they were all teenagers!
ReplyDeleteNo formal vacations for us this year, but hopefully a few short trips to interesting places nearby. I hope you get to stop at Disney. It's one of my favorite destinations, too!
