Thought I'd try to give Project 365 a chance again. I really do enjoy it. There were just a lot of things going on in my life and I just really had no interest in taking photos for awhile. I've decided no matter what's going on I just need to chose joy and find joy in the Lord and in the everyday things of life. Life is never perfect, but it's still pretty wonderful when you're serving the Lord. So here goes another attempt. Click here to join in on the fun.
Sunday - Vero Beach. No it wasn't cold, Kerri just loves wearing a hoodie for some reason.
Monday - Lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. Very good.
Tuesday and Wednesday - no pictures. Just picking up a new bike for Kelli for getting around the college campus on Tuesday and Wednesday driving all day to Pigeon Forge, TN
Thursday - we saw an Elvis impersonator as we were driving down the strip. We got Tracy to stop and Kerri and I went over and listened. He wasn't half bad although this isn't a good picture.
Friday - driving around Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains. Some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
Saturday - no picture - driving back home. It's been an eventful trip. Leaving Kelli at college and all. Kelli we miss you, but hopefully with these few pictures you can get an idea of what we did after dropping you off.
Great pictures. I know you miss your girl.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed Cades Cove last summer!
Gotta be hard leaving one...I have a few more years but already dreading it! Beautiful mountains and love the beach. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteHi, Cathy~
ReplyDeleteI must have been so hard for you leaving your baby at college. Both our girls decided on the community college road and then on-line courses at University of Phoenix and they LOVE IT!
Best of luck to Kelli and ((((hugs)))) to you!
Blessings~
Laura
PS - Love the pics!
I am so glad you have jumped back in to P365!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a hard time in life for mamas.....someone once told me, "your kids keep you up at night all their lives, just for different reasons"...so true!!!
Have a great week!
Our daughters are juniors in college now, but every Fall when they go back, I miss them as much as I did the first year they left.
ReplyDeleteI agree...Smoky Mountains provides some of the best scenery!
One of my daughters lives in a hoodie too...what is up with that? lol
Prayerfully some of that missing is being replaced with joy!! Glad to "see" you again!
ReplyDeleteLove the mountains and you are right about it being so beautiful there! You can always count on an Elvis impersonator to bring a smile. :)
Have a great week!!
