Are you Watching?

Is anyone watching the new season of Survivor.  If you've been around my blog very long, you probably know I kinda like Survivor.  I don't post about it a lot, but it's one of the few shows I watch, if at all possible.

This season it's in the South Pacific and they brought back Redemption Island and Ozzy and Coach.  Now I don't remember a lot about Ozzy from his 2 times on the show, but Coach I remember!  In fact, Kelli met him last year at her college.  He came and spoke and then she got his autograph and talked to him for a bit afterwards.  She really liked him a lot.

So, I'm watching again and last night was the first episode.  Guess what, Coach is still there.  He got a bit of a rocky start, but he's still there.

So are you watching or not?  If not, what do you like to watch?  Let's get some conversation going here.

Oh and if you can't tell, I'm putting off starting my posts about the trip.  I have about 700 pictures to work through to figure which to show.  But I promise I'll get to it soon.  haha

  1. I LOVE Survivor!!!! Ozzy was one of my favorites and Coach? well, he definitely stirs things up. ha!

I was surprised to see that Russell's nephew said God was #1 in his life! That will be interesting.

I was happy with who they voted off and I will be surprised if she survives redemption island!!!

  2. I agree. I was very happy with who they voted off. I had seen a clip earlier, where Probst said she needed to be voted off first. That she really didn't belong there. Mainly I think he thought she was too prissy and couldn't handle the bugs & things.

Brandon surprised me too with the remark about God. I'm anxious to see how he does. I wonder how long he'll be able to keep his secret. I think he looks and sounds just like Russell, only a lot nicer. We'll see....

  3. I'm a Survivor watcher, too. I was happy with who got voted off as well--and surprised about Russell's nephew. I liked him! Of course, I'd grown to like Russell, too, in the end.

I'm more of an Ozzy fan than a Coach fan, but we'll see how it goes. How neat that your daughter met him and got his autograph.

Survivor is one of the few shows that my husband and I enjoy watching together. We've watched very season since its beginning.

  4. I'd kind of like to watch. I feel like we need something new and we used to watch when it first got started, then we faded away for a few seasons. I missed it last night but I'm sure it will be replayed somewhere. I think now that you're talking about it I'm going to set the DVR.

  5. Kathy. I haven't watched all the seasons, but I've watched probably the last 4 or 5 at least plus some sprinkled throughout the times before. But for the last few seasons I've been totally hooked. haha Hubby doesn't watch with me usually until the finale. He'll watch that one. He might as well watch them though, because I tell him all about it and by the finale he probably knows the contestants about as well as I do.

Joyce, you really should watch it. It's fun (mostly) unless they start getting to crass or nasty in their language and actions. You can usually catch the episodes the day after the original airing on www.cbs.com & search Survivor. Later in the show when they start seating the jury, you can watch the Ponderosa clips; which is where they go until they show is completely filmed. Because the jurors can't go home. That's usually pretty interesting to watch. You find out how much weight they've lost and stuff. Plus they send them on field trips, etc.
