Crocheting

Since it's officially fall and the weather here is cooling down quite a bit, I'm in the mood to do some crocheting. I've been working on an afghan for my husband for several years now. Yes, I did say years. haha Anyway last night while watching Survivor I got it back out and started working on it again. I'm hoping I can finish it this year. It's gotta be before spring because I don't like to crochet in the spring or summer because it's too hot with all that laying in your lap. Anyway thought I'd show you a picture of where I am on it right now.

So please someone tell me I'm not the only one that takes years to complete a crafting project.

  2. I love the colors. I can't remember the last time I actually worked on a personal project. Most of my knitting/crocheting is all for Prayer Shawl Ministry at our church. I have been thinking of making a throw for the living room...

But every now and then I will launch into a project that will seem to take forevvvvveeeeerrrrrr!

    Blessings

  5. I too have been known to take years to complete a project. What matters I think, is that it gets finished eventually. Your handiwork is gorgeous!

  7. The afghan looks wonderful!

I must say, I bought some crafty items a few years back and haven't done anything with them.
However, I have crocheted several Prayer Blankets.
