Sometimes life is hard, isn't it? But you know that seems to be when I see the hand of God the most. Maybe that's because I spend more time praying and maybe because I ask Him for more during those times. I mean the Word does say "you have not because you ask not."
There seems to be a lot going on right now. My dad is in the hospital for the 3rd time in the past 5 or 6 weeks. But this time, they think they've finally figured out what's wrong and they're just waiting for a couple of things to clear up and then they'll put in a pacemaker and he should be on the road to recovery!
Then in that same time frame, my mom came down with pneumonia and was hospitalized for a couple of days. She's doing much better now. See again, God stepped in...not with instant healing, but by using the doctors and medicine.
Then I just found out yesterday that a family member gave his heart to the Lord we are so thrilled. God is so good because He never quits calling and drawing us to Him.
So while we are busy and there are some hard things going on, God is showing us that He's right in the midst and is taking care of us. Thank you God!
If you are going through tough times, just remember to turn to God and ask Him for help and keep on keeping on. Answers don't always come quick, but God is always there in the midst.
Have a great day!
Amen... sometimes knowing He's there with me in the middle of 'life' - its the only comfort there is.
ReplyDeletePraying your parents are on the upswing!!!
Thank you. Prayers would be greatly appreciated.
DeletePraying that your parents continue to recover. And praises for the decision made by your family member! Hallelujah!
ReplyDeleteYes, it sure can be, but as long as you have FAITH in God, you can get through just about anything, right? Saying a prayer that your mom and dad are both on a full and speedy recovery!
ReplyDeleteKeeping all your worries in my prayers. My dad had a pace maker put in at 87 and that was two years ago. It took awhile to get his energy back now he is very active again.
ReplyDeleteThat is such great news Debby. Dad is 83 and I hope it will be the same for him. Thank you so much for the prayers.
