These are my Gerbera Daisies.  I love them.  See the angel.  That was my grandma's.  It was given to me when she passed away.

This why I like to sit on my front porch.  I have these flowers to look at, the hummingbird feeder (although I haven't seen a hummingbird yet this year.  Also, I love listening to the wind chimes when the wind is blowing.

Since I gave Kelli my camera for the summer, I've been trying to get used to my old Kodak camera.  So I was practicing taking a few pictures in my office.  This is a small spot of color in my office. I found out tonight that my Kodak is having some problems.  So now I'm shopping for a new camera.  Considering a Canon PowerShot SX130IS.  Anybody ever use this camera.  Sure would like to know what you think of it.

Beautiful skies when I got home from work tonight.  I love Sky shots.

I got a skin for my Kindle Keyboard and I love it.  It fits really nice and I love the color.  I also, got the cover to protect it and it makes it easier to hold.

Here's what the inside of the cover looks like.  For some reason I'm really into pink lately.  Seems most everything I buy is pink. haha
These guys are my nephews.  They just graduated high school tonight.  Aren't they handsome.  I'm so proud of them.

Here they are with my baby sister.  Believe it or not, the one sticking his tongue out is the oldest.  He is so like his daddy (my baby brother).

Here they are with my mom and dad.  See how good my mom and dad look.  They are getting better all the time.  Thank you God.

Here they are with their parents.  That is my baby brother on the right.

Here is Kerri and I with the graduates.  It was a fun night.  I'm so glad we were able to go.  Congratulations guys!
Kelli called me last night.  She was able to get away from the camp in order to get some supplies she needed.  While she was at Walmart getting stuff she called.  It was so good to hear her voice.  She is having a blast and loves the camp and people already.  I hope she takes lots of pictures and makes lots and lots of friends and through it all, my prayer is that she'll grow closer and closer to God!

Well, that's pretty much how my week has been.  Hope you've had a good week too.

  1. I love pink as well, nice choice. I also love cloud photos, did you use to lay on the grass and look up and see all sort of things in clouds? I did and loved it, I still look up to see what forms the clouds make. Have a great weekend.

  4. A Kindle skin? That looks spectacular! I knew they made skins for laptops and cell phones ... I didn't know that they made them for Kindles, too. Was it hard to apply? I worry that I'll not get it on straight or that I'll have air bubbles in it.

I already have a cover - a boring gray one. Although I do have a cute "pouch" ... my daughter is selling bags, etc. (Initials, Inc.).

  5. Our hummingbird feeder has been so busy this year. I am hoping to get a picture of one before summer ends. They are getting braver and braver about coming out when we're around.

    Have a great weekend!

  7. I enjoyed your pictures very much! I love my deck, too. I don't have any gerbera daisies, though. I overdosed on Wave petunias and then someone gave me a flat of magenta petunias, too. Oy!

  8. How long is Kelli going to be at camp? I'm going to camp (for kids in 3rd - 5th grade) next week but just for 5 days.

My daughter tried to grow a pot of those daisies and they drooped right down and died - - - just rotted away. What is your daisy growing secret?

    1. Kelli will be there all summer and as for the daisies. No special tips, just water so far. We'll see how long they last for me. I definitely do not have a green thumb. haha

  9. I must be getting really old!!! To me, high school grads look younger and younger each year. Congrats to your nephews. And I too love sky shots. The clouds, they're so beautiful. As are your flowers.

A CLEAN BREAK is my post today.

  10. I love Gerbera Daisies. And angels. And hummingbirds! Mine usually show up before I ever get the feeder filled up each year which always reminds me to get it filled up. I love watching them.

My stepdaughter graduates this afternoon. She found out only two days ago that she made Valedictorian so she had to prepare a speech!

  11. I like sky shots, too, and yours is beautiful.

Our Kendall will be a Junior Counselor at a YMCA camp this August. She can hardly wait!

I adore Gerbera daisies, but I can't keep them alive. At the moment, I have greens but no flowers, as they died and have not returned :(

Thanks for linking up! Have a great weekend.
