Friday Fragments

Mommy's Idea

This week has gone pretty fast.

Monday - I spent the evening working on catching up on my Bible Study (it's not a very good idea to save the whole weeks worth of study for the last night). Loving this James study.

Tuesday - Ladies Bible Study. Such a great group of ladies, plus I get to see Carina and her mommy. Love holding that sweet baby girl.

Wednesday - Went to dinner with hubby at Jimmy Johns and then grocery shopping. Came home and couldn't stand the thought of watching the debate, so we watched NCIS and NCIS LA on ON Demand.

Thursday - Went to the Homecoming Parade. Met some friends and had a lot of fun. Came home and hubby had made dinner and I did a Bible Study (I'm determined not to get behind this week). My friend's son is on the senior homecoming court. Here are some pictures.

My friend's son.  Isn't he cute?

Not a great picture, but this young man is in my Sunday School class.

  1. My daughter gets to check out her first Homecoming next week... she's a freshman... and it'll be a first for Wayne and I too, we don't have anything like this in Canada

  2. We didn't watch the debate either. I still haven't watched this week's NCIS. I'm hoping to have an NCIS Season 9 marathon this weekend so I can be all caught up before resuming Season 10. Crazy, I know.

    What's a Powderpuff team?

    1. Powderpuff is girls playing football and they usually having a guy from the football team as their coach and then 1 or 2 other football players will dress up and act as cheerleaders. Lots of fun to watch.

  4. Seeing the Homecoming Parade makes me remember the smell of fall football games. Our biggest rival football game is this weekend. (sort of a twin city rival thing), and it is COLD.

We had a birthday party here tonight instead of freezing in the stands.

  5. I missed the debate on purpose, I have no desire to hear the same things over and over again. I cannot remember having a homecoming parade. Did we do that in California? I wonder!
