Weekend Wrap-Up

There's not much to wrap-up this weekend. I didn't take a single picture of anything. I can't believe that. Anyway, it was a great weekend though.

Friday night we just relaxed at home...all 3 of us.

Saturday - Kerri was gone from 10a-11:30p, so Tracy and I had some of that empty nest time. We drove up to Plain City and had lunch at the Der Dutchman, which is an Amish style restaurant. Very good food. Then we drove back home. It's about an hour and a half drive and it was a beautiful day for a drive. Lot's of fall colors. However, I was driving, so there are no pictures.

On the way home we did 5 different geocaches and actually found all of them. It was so much fun. Then we stopped at the grocery and then relaxed at home for the evening. I know, I know, we are just such exciting folks. haha

Sunday we had church and it was our homecoming. We had a great service and some great food afterwards. Let me tell you, those people know how to cook! Yummy!

I finished up my Bible Study for Tuesday night and then hubby and I watched a James Bond movie. I love watching Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.

And that was our weekend in a nutshell. How was yours?

  3. Sounds like a fun Saturday for sure! We don't often do too much on the weekends. My husband likes to putz around outside and watch his football. I enjoyed Pierce as Bond!

  4. Sounds like a great weekend! Glad you found the geocaches. It does make it more fun when you actually find it! We found one on campus at Purdue while we were there for the football game. Such a fun activity. :)

  5. We used to drive out to Lancaster Pa when I was growing up and I remember the amazing lunches served family style. I should put that on the list to do again. I love the Bond movies...Daniel Craig is definitely my fave though...can't wait for the new one!
