I wanted to do my Post-It Note blog post today, but they are added as photos. Blogger is telling me I have used all my space in Picasa and need to now purchase space in order to add any more photos.
My questions are:
1. Has this happened to you and what did you do?
2. Is there anyway around it, without having to pay monthly for space?
3. Is Picasa the only way to put photos on Blogger?
Thank you for your help in answering these questions for me.
I ran out of space last week. I am not sure what other options are out there, but you could try googling it. I decided to pay the monthly fee-it works out to about $30/year and for me, the simplicity is worth it. You can cancel anytime so I figured I might look around and see what else there is. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI got the same message 2 days ago as well so I am interested in what people have to say...I just went ahead and paid the $2 a month for the next step up. I had no idea that I would run out of space or even that I was uploading all the pictures to Picasa when I put them on my blog...learn something new every day right ;) If one of your readers knows the answer to #3 I will totally go back and cancel!
ReplyDeleteI ran out YEARS ago... I didnt know there was a montly option - I pay yearly & its under $10 - maybe that's not an option anymore. But it gives LOTS of space - you probably wouldnt need to buy anymore for quite a long time.
ReplyDeleteI do try to use a lot of Pinterest pins for pictures that arent personal - ones that enhance the post- because you can "embed" with the codes & you dont take space with pictures there.
& yep - Picasa is the only way for Google :(
And be aware - if you ever use Google+ & put any pictures on that, it also takes your space up. Stupid. Why I never cared for it.
Yep...happened to me recently. I had to buy the additional storage space via Picasa. I think it's about $2.50/month. To me, it's worth it, but a bit frustrating, nonetheless.
ReplyDeleteIt just happened to me and I signed up for the monthly fee. I have a few other blogger friends who just did the same thing. I don't know of anyway around it.
