If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Wednesday Hodgepodge and Christmas Tree Photo Link Party

If you are here for the Christmas Tree Photo Link Party, go to the bottom of this post and you'll see my tree. Now on with the Wednesday Hodgepodge 1st and then the Christmas Tree Photo Link Party.

1. How will you spend 'the night before Christmas'?
At my sister's house with all of my family.  There will be food and presents and good times had by all.

2. What is one thing you are not?
Skinny

3. Fudge-are you a fan? Your favorite flavor?
I'm a fan and as I've said before my dad makes the best peanut butter fudge in the world.

4. Did you attend any craft/vendor fairs in the month of December? Do you prefer homemade goodies or the more professional stalls? Are you giving any homemade gifts this year?
I have not attended any in December.  I like homemade stuff.  No I'm not giving any homemade items this year.  I have often in the past, but not this year.

5. What's your favorite type of holiday gathering?
One where there is family, good friends and good food.

6. We're approaching a new year...what's going to be different in 2013?
I'll be writing 2013 instead of 2012....I usually don't make resolutions, so that's about all I know right now.  Guess I'll wait and see what the Lord has in store for me.

7. Share a favorite scripture, quote, saying, or song lyric relating to peace.
"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee."
Isaiah 26:3  KJV   I love this verse in the King James Version.  When I read this question, this is the first thing that popped into my mind.  Maybe this will be my "different" thing in 2013.  Actually trying to live this verse.

8. Insert your own random thought here.

When your finished with the Hodgepodge, why not click the button above and join in with the Christmas Tree Photo Link Party.

I took some of your-all's advice and put a bow on top of my tree.  I really love it.

  1. What a beautiful tree! I love the bow on top...maybe I will have to make one up today to put on top of my tree (it doesn't have anything on top right now either!) I Loooove peanut butter fudge - almost more than regular chocolate fudge! Thanks so much for sharing and linking up! Merry Christmas :)

  2. You're good - you did both... I knew I'd have too many pictures to do both posts :)

PB Fudge... I remember you saying before how your dad's PB fudge is the best. That's my favorite kind. Glad i'm not near his fudge - I'd be 10 lbs bigger!

Yep - Just let God lead 2013 - love that!

Beautiful tree... it looks so clean & spotless... my house during Christmas is like a tornado!

  5. I may try to add a link later today. I did snap a few photos of the tree finally.

Who could have imagined all this year would bring? So grateful my hope does not rest in this tired troubled world. And that in the midst of darkness we can indeed have hope!

Merry Christmas~enjoy time with your family!
