If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Friday Fragments

Mommy's Idea

It's that time again. Friday Fragments.

I need to get the treadmill moved out of the room Carolyn is using and into the bedroom Kelli used while home from school. I'm also going to set my computer and stuff in that room. So while Kelli is gone it will be our guest room/my office & exercise room. Hope to paint it this spring.

Went shopping with one of my sisters and my mom tonight. We had a good time together and I got 3 new sweaters and a couple of tops to layer under the sweaters. Love CJ Banks.

Still looking for ideas for fun things to do and see and eat in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.  You can comment on this post or add them to my post about our upcoming trip here.

11.  Beautiful evening skies...love God's handiwork.
12.  Time spent with one of my sisters and my mom.
13.  Wonderful discussion about prayer at Bible Study last night.
14.  Lily and how she almost always meets me at the door when I come in and she is always so glad to see me.
15.  Books on audio files, downloaded from the library...listened to one about Mr. Walt Disney today while at work.  Makes the day go so much faster.

  3. I so dislike painting...have been putting off a room that needs it badly!

I have always wished I had a sister!!! But God has given me several close friends that feel like sisters, so I'm grateful!

My Lily does the same thing!!!

  6. CJ Banks is the BEST! And the people who work in there are pretty awesome, too. The last time I was in, the worker saved me about $30.
Let me know exactly when you're going to be in Pigeon Forge/G'burg. It's not far from me! The Apple Barn Restaurant (NOT the grill!) has the best breakfast around. It's actually in Sevierville.
    Have a good weekend!

  7. I don't have any fun ideas to do in Gatlinburg - - - but I DO have one funny story to tell.

Years ago when Fisherhubby and I were MUCH closer to being newly weds than we now are, we spent a night in a motel in Gatlinburg with another couple who were are great friends. We spent the evening playing cards in front of the fire place, and the friend hubby kept LOUDLY poking the logs in the fireplace to keep our fire rip snorting.

In the MORNING, we observed that the couple exiting the "back side of the fireplace" room were newly weds on their HONEYMOON! Sure hope they weren't trying to SLEEP through all our fire poking, game playing NOISE!

    Hehehehehe

  9. When my husband's oldest moved out (mine were gone when we married), I said oh, now we can turn this room into an exercise room and he said NO! I think it was hard on him and he thought he would be back. Once he was out, he never lived at home again. When the youngest moved out, I didn't even ask, I just turned the room into a guest room. I don't really think we'll ever really have an exercise room because when we had a stationary bike, it was a glorified second"closet".
