painted by my daughter! |
This is a painting my oldest made me for Christmas. It is one of my most favorite quotes by Erma Bombeck. I haven't hung it yet, but I love it. I'm not sure where I want to hang it yet, so I'm enjoying it on my computer desk.
Well we've finally made a decision. We're going to do Beth Moore's, "A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place for our spring Bible study. Should be a good one.

Well, that's about it. Have a great weekend!
(I've edited this post and removed information about a movie I recommended. After some of the comments and thinking about it, I decided, I really wasn't comfortable recommending it to others to watch. Sorry, if this causes confusion. I'm just more comfortable with what I said, removed from here.)
I like that painting too. A very cool gift.
ReplyDeleteI want to see Hope Springs (which means I'd better add it to our Blockbuster queue). I don't know that I'm familiar with Under the Tuscan Sun ... I need to check that out and add it, too. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that painting!
Another short and sweet frag post! Tami, just before you in the linky list, also did a short and sweet one this week.
ReplyDeleteEven when I TRY to be short, I'm not, and we all know I'm never very sweet.
Sigh.
I love Under the Tuscan Sun...makes me want to buy an old house in the Italian countryside. sigh.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
So, Hope Springs is worth the watch? Someone said something about it being like porn for 60 year olds! I absolutely LOVE Under the Tuscan Sun!
ReplyDeleteI did that bible study a few years back... always love Beth moore.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Under the Tuscan Sun... makes me want to visit Italy!!!!
Erma Bombeck! Makes me think of my mom - she has every book & always laughed out loud every time she read them.
What an awesome painting. Enjoy the bible study. I hear she is great!!!
ReplyDeleteHubs and I went to the movies to see Hope Springs. It was the first and only movie I ever walked out on -- not because it was bad -- it was really good. But I felt like I was a fly on the wall if my parents went to couples therapy! I totally felt like I was intruding and wanted to give the characters their privacy. lol
ReplyDeleteI love the wall hanging from K.. Thanks for welcoming me back. I do love blogging.. I hope I can get back into the groove.
ReplyDeletei want to read UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN...my daughter loved visiting Italy...maybe one day i'll get there
ReplyDeleteOooh, I would love to have something like that done for my hubby for his office. What a great quote!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat quote! I like Beth Moore's studies, hope you enjoy it! I haven't done this one.
ReplyDeleteNow I'm curious as to what movie it was that you recommended!
Oh, I love that painting and how talented your daughter is....you'll find the perfect place!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
So I guess I missed what you said about Hope Springs. I enjoyed it when I went to the show to see it but I was surprised about some references when it was a PG13 movie but I do plan on buying it. Love your Christmas present. Enjoy your weekend.
