Friday Fragments

Mommy's Idea

It's time for Friday Fragments. If you want to play along, why not click the button above.

painted by my daughter!
This is a painting my oldest made me for Christmas.  It is one of my most favorite quotes by Erma Bombeck.  I haven't hung it yet, but I love it.  I'm not sure where I want to hang it yet, so I'm enjoying it on my computer desk.

Well we've finally made a decision.  We're going to do Beth Moore's, "A Woman's Heart, God's Dwelling Place for our spring Bible study.  Should be a good one.

Well, that's about it.  Have a great weekend!

(I've edited this post and removed information about a movie I recommended.  After some of the comments and thinking about it, I decided, I really wasn't comfortable recommending it to others to watch. Sorry, if this causes confusion.  I'm just more comfortable with what I said, removed from here.)

  2. I want to see Hope Springs (which means I'd better add it to our Blockbuster queue). I don't know that I'm familiar with Under the Tuscan Sun ... I need to check that out and add it, too. ;-)

    I LOVE that painting!

  3. Another short and sweet frag post! Tami, just before you in the linky list, also did a short and sweet one this week.

Even when I TRY to be short, I'm not, and we all know I'm never very sweet.

    Sigh.

Erma Bombeck! Makes me think of my mom - she has every book & always laughed out loud every time she read them.

  8. Hubs and I went to the movies to see Hope Springs. It was the first and only movie I ever walked out on -- not because it was bad -- it was really good. But I felt like I was a fly on the wall if my parents went to couples therapy! I totally felt like I was intruding and wanted to give the characters their privacy. lol

  14. So I guess I missed what you said about Hope Springs. I enjoyed it when I went to the show to see it but I was surprised about some references when it was a PG13 movie but I do plan on buying it. Love your Christmas present. Enjoy your weekend.
