Weekend Wrap-up

Friday night was just hubby and I at home. We ordered from LaRosa's. He had pizza and I had a wonderful Calzone with chicken, mushrooms, tomatoes and a 3-cheese blend with ranch sauce for dipping. Yummy! Then we watched NCIS reruns. Very restful evening after a pretty hectic week.

Saturday, Kelli came home early and then went with us to eat lunch at Red Lobster and run some errands. I bought a new table and chairs for my kitchen/dining room. Well, actually they aren't new, but they're new to me. I'll actually get them sometime this week. They are from my brother and sister-in-laws store of vintage and antique items. I totally love it and can't wait to get it. Here's a picture.

Saturday evening Tracy and I visited with my family at my mom and dad's and that finished off a great Saturday!

Sunday was a good day for worshiping and resting.  We finished this puzzle.  Sorry about the glare, but this is the best picture I took.

And that about sums up our weekend.  Now it's on to another week of work.

I love that puzzle. I've been wanting to start a puzzle, but I didn't want to get started on one and then leave without finishing it. ha!

  7. I always give our daughter a puzzle for Christmas. Unfortunately, this year, we weren't all together long enough to work it. Hopefully she can take it when we go to the beach together in March. Should be a great evening activity. Enjoy your new table!
