1. My daughter earned her Master's Degree this past weekend...what's something you've 'mastered' in recent weeks or months?
How about crocheting dishcloths? See below.
All different colors and sizes. Some are completed, some are not. |
Haven't got a clue.
3. What do you think about single gender groups and/or events? Should every group/event be open to both genders? If not, what sort of exceptions do you think are appropriate?
Personally I think whoever is giving or throwing the event should be able to have it the way they want it. And yes, I believe some things are for guys and some things are for girls.
4. What's your favorite spice? Your favorite dish containing your favorite spice?
Some may consider it boring, but black pepper is my favorite spice. I use it a lot!
5. I saw this question on Marla's facebook page and asked if I could steal borrow it for the Hodgepodge...thanks Marla!
Chevron patterns are everywhere! Do you like it or think its just a little too much? Do you own anything 'chevron'?
Chevron is okay. I do not think I own any though.
6. What's something you disliked as a child, but can fully appreciate now?
Green Beans...Hated them as a kid, love them now.
7. What can irritate you very quickly?
Some days it might be easier to say what doesn't irritate me.

Enjoying time with my oldest before she heads back to school next week for her senior year. The four of us went to lunch together on Saturday. First time in almost a year that just the 4 of us were together. Last time was for hubby's birthday last year while in Florida.
#7-Ha : ) I almost said pepper too. I love pepper and use it a lot. I think it makes most things better. Enjoy time with your girl...I know how special that is!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you were able to get some time with all your family together. Hope it doesn't take another year for all 4 of you to get together.
ReplyDeleteI could have said pepper for something I didn't like as a child, but appreciate now! Glad you were able to all be together. Those times are precious. Have a great Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI think nothing beats good old salt and pepper!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the time with your family. It grows more precious as they grow older.
Black pepper may be boring, but it's what I said! I think most dishes WITHOUT pepper are boring! So happy the 4 of you in your family got together. I can't imagine a year without the whole gang together. Precious times, for sure.
ReplyDeleteI just had my mom crochet me some of those dish cloths for the camper! I love them. We go thru a lot of black pepper in our house. Enjoy this last week together!
ReplyDeletePepper is my husband's spice of choice too... his food is BLACK when he's done with it...
ReplyDeleteI need to crochet some more dish cloths... they are the best!
Way to go on the knitting! I didn't even give black pepper a thought yet I use it all the time on things in place of salting. (not that I ever was a salter) LOL on it being easier to say the things that didn't irritate you!! I hear you on that one.
ReplyDeleteGreen beens! I've read that a lot today. Guess I always liked green beens. Glad you got family time with all of your family.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got so spent time with the family before your oldest started school!
