If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Friday Fragments

Half-Past Kissin' Time

Click here to join in with Mrs 4444 for Friday Fragments.

I don't have too many fragments running around in my head right now. Well at least not any that are really blog-worthy.

Pretty much all I've done this week is go to work and come home for the evening.  Between the snow and cold temperatures, I haven't wanted to be out too much.  I've been doing quite a bit of crocheting in the evenings.  That and some reading and computer time and my evenings are pretty full.

Oh, the other thing we've done is doctor's appointments.  I had one on Tuesday - good report.  Hubby had one on Wednesday - good report and he even got taken off one of his meds!  And then we took my mom to an appointment on Wednesday afternoon.  Oh the joy of getting older.

A couple of other bloggers have been talking about working jigsaw puzzles.  Well, it got me in the mood and since we've been home so much, I started one Wednesday night.  I'll probably finish it tonight.  I love working puzzles, except I get so consumed, I can't do anything else until it's completed.  haha

I'm listening to the 3rd book in the Divergent series.  Very good series.  Have any of you read them?  I know the movie is coming out soon for the first one.  Looking forward to seeing that. Here's a trailer for it.

So yeah, that's my week.  Cold, snow, work, home, puzzles, crafting, reading and doctor's appointments. Sounds good to me.

  1. I used to do puzzles but I don't think I have any in the house now. But maybe I should go buy one.

  5. I've done a jigsaw puzzle or two with the grandkids. I Sudoku often (is that a verb?).
The snow and cold especially when it is dangerously bitter forces you inside doesn't it. I would think that would boost blog reading. Stay warm.

  6. I was thinking the same thing the other day about working on a crossword puzzle since several people have blogged about them. I buy them, kinda like my book collection which I never get to....LOL! Glad your following through. Enjoy your weekend.

  7. Oh wait... you need to think if your thoughts are blog worthy? I've been doing it wrong :) haha
I'm the same way with my puzzles. I'm totally consumed! I may consume myself this weekend ;)

  8. I haven't read the third book yet, but I'm looking forward to the movie of #1. I did read that! I'm in two book clubs, so my own reading list sometimes gets set aside to accomodate those books. I still haven't gotten back to the puzzle on my dining room table. I have a board meeting here in another week, so I gotta get it done-I need the table!

  11. I love jigsaw puzzles! I am excited that my older kids are getting big enough for the more challenging puzzles. Now to keep the dog from chewing on the pieces . . .

  12. I love puzzles too but I hate taking them apart. We have a few of our favorites framed.
I am so behind in my reading (happens when I have so many writing deadlines) but that is one series I would love to get to before the movie.
Have a nice (hopefully warm) weekend)

  14. My husband and daughter have read the books, and they enjoyed them. I'm not there. The Hunger Games trilogy was enough dystopia for me.
