Weekend Wrap-Up

Other than the weather, it's been a really nice weekend.  I have to say I am getting a little tired of the rain and now it's snowing and supposed to get really, really cold.  As I said this morning when I went into the church hall where we all meet for coffee and donuts and fruit...This is the day the Lord has made.  I will rejoice and be glad in it.  But I sure don't like it very well.  haha

Friday night and Saturday, we didn't do a whole lot.  Just relaxed and enjoyed being home.  We did go out and get lunch and went to Walmart to pick up some groceries and other stuff.  Later we stopped by my parents and visited with the family.  That was fun.  Then back home.  Love a day like that.

On Sunday after church,Tracy, Kelli and I all went to the local Mexican Restaurant for lunch and then Kelli and I headed to the Outlet Mall in the neighboring town.  Kelli had a pair of Sperry's she needed to exchange for a different size.  After that we went to the Disney Store.  Here are the items I bought.

A fleece shirt for Kerri
A fleece shirt for Kelli
A Mickey Mug for Tracy and a Minnie Mug for me and a Minnie Water Bottle for me for work.
I believe drinking out of Disney Mug for Water Bottle makes things taste even better.  haha

After leaving the Outlet Mall, Kelli and I went and saw the movie "Catching Fire."  Can I just say, AWESOME!  Seems like I've been waiting forever to go see it.  Totally loved it.

Tonight at home we have just been relaxing.  We watched the last Indiana Jones movie.  Somehow I've never seen all of it.  Pretty good!

So most of our weekend has just been relaxing.  I did complete a new hat I've been working on.

And now I'm getting ready to start a dark blue one and I think I'll put a stripe in it too.  I made one a couple of weeks ago and just made it a plain color and it doesn't have the pom pom on top.  That's the one I've been wearing to take the dog out all the time.  They are really warm.

You have to know, I could close this post without a picture of Lucy.  She wouldn't hold still for me to take a picture, so Kelli held her for me.  She had just come in from the rain, so she looks pretty scruffy.  Her hair looks kind of wiry in all her pictures, but it really isn't.  She is the softest little thing.

Well, that's pretty much how our weekend went.  Hope you all have a great week.
