If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. What is something you'll never forget about the age you are right now?
I don't know, I can't remember!

 2. What's a household chore you've never done? How have you managed that???
I have no idea. And I really don't want to know, because if I found out I haven't done something I should, then that means I may have to start doing it and I definitely do not want any more household chores.  ha

3. Does nature shape our personalities more than nurture? Explain?
That's a debate that I don't really have an answer for.   Since our girls are adopted, that is something we have talked about off and on over the years.  I think both probably shape us equally. I see signs of us in their personalities and they have since met some of their biological family and they say they see similarities there too. So as I said, I think it's both.

4. Friday (February 28th) is 'Something on a Stick Day'...funny because Zoanna over at A Penchant for Pens recently sent me an idea for a question relating to this topic. What's your favorite food eaten on a stick?
A Mickey Bar eaten while at Disney World.

My first ever Mickey Bar eaten in 2008

5. Which of your five senses do you treasure most, and why?
Sight, I think.  Because my mother is losing her sight and I know how hard that has been for her.  Although she is absolutely amazing.

6. What's the best music, theatre, or sporting venue you've been to? What made it great?
That Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH.  Why? Because it was filled to almost capacity with women who had come for a weekend of "Women of Faith."  Awesome!  Nothing quite like an arena full of women praising the Lord.

7. It's the last week of the month...in five words or less bid adieu to your February.
You have been rather disappointing!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

Have a great day!!

  1. I like your answer to #3 and yes, if I haven't done the chor by now, I don't want to start doing it now!

  2. I've always wanted to attend a "Women of Faith" conference...I need to make that happen! I agree...Mickey bars are DE-LISH!

  3. My mom and I are going to a Women of Faith event in Phila. in September, and I'm really looking forward to it. I've never been to one before, but everyone says they're fabulous. Right now my Bible Study group is doing a Jennifer Rothschild study. She's blind and completely amazing!

  4. Love your answer for #2, haha. And reading everyone elses answers reminds me of many things I enjoy on a stick. Those Mickey bars for sure lol Enjoy your day!

  5. I've never been to a women of faith conference but I can only imagine the feeling of that many women together praising the Lord!

  6. You always make me want to get back to Disney!!!!
there really is nothing like arenas full of people praising God. I always say its a glimpse of Heaven.

  7. Mickey ice cream on a stick! I love that.

  8. That 'Mickey Bar' sure does look delicious :)

  9. Those Mickey bars are so cute. I have a picture of my two children when they were little sitting with my dad at Disney World each holding up one. My dad had taken a bite out of one of his ears!!! One of my favorite photos. Love your random and Pinterest is just so awesome.....

  10. Im with you, can't think of a chore I havent done and don't want to know anyways! lol.. Love your answer for #7!

  11. I much prefer a Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich...but nothing says Disney like a Mickey Bar!! I guess a Turkey Leg is technically on a stick as well, but even as good as they smell, I can't bring myself to eat one! They are dripping with grease and it's yucky Turkey (even though it smells like ham).

And I completely agree about February, here's hoping for a better March!
