A to Z Challenge - Letter G

A. A. Milne is the author of Winnie the Pooh.  I knew the name was familiar, but I had to Google it to find out who he was.  I think that's pretty cool.  This is just so true and I love it. It goes along with something my husband has said.  The saying that says that experience is the best teacher is so dumb.  He says example is the best teacher.  If we would learn from another person's experience and use it as an example, we would not have to experience so many bad things.  Makes sense to me.

  1. Your husband's version is really good, now if only I could stick to that one instead of the other : )

  7. Love A.A. Milne. He is a Canadian. He grew up in Winnipeg Manitoba and wrote the books for his son Christopher to help him learn about life. Even Aesop's fables are really for adults.

  8. I think that sometimes, no matter how much attention we pay to the experiences of others, the bad things are going to happen anyway. But, sometimes we get lucky and the experiences of others pay off for us and we avoid a harship.

    Have a great week.

  9. So true, we live and learn! The hardest part for me is wanting my children to learn from my mistakes and no matter how hard I've tried I have learned that it doesn't sink in until they make them themselves.
