Friday Fragments

Half-Past Kissin' Time

It's that time again. In fact, I'm running rather late. Here are a few fragments of my week. Click above to get the rules and then click her home button to get to this week's posts. Hope you'll play with us.

Miss Lucy was groomed.  Let me tell you, she really needed it.  She was full of little knots.  I am just not good with keeping up with a long haired dog at the best of times and this past month has been rather a nightmare.  So needless to say, this haircut is much better for us all right now.

It looks like my mom may be facing 2 more surgeries.  We're not sure yet.  They still have a few more tests to run first.  But she seems to be feeling pretty good and is in pretty good spirits.  Thank you so much for all your prayers.  I know God is answering and moving.

My baby turns 20 tomorrow.  I can't even believe it!  Where in the world has all the time gone.  We're taking her and Charlie to lunch and then going to the Aquarium.  We got them an Annual Pass for Christmas and this is the first time all 4 of us can go together.  So looking forward to it, plus it's down on the river and the weather is going to be so nice!.  I'll try to post some pics on Monday.

That's about all I have right now.  Hope you all have a great weekend!!

  3. Miss Lucy looks pleased with her new hair cut :) Long haired dogs are definitely more work, aren't they?

I'll continue praying for your mom. I hope all goes well for her.

    Enjoy your weekend!

  4. She looks great, I love the haircut. I bet Lucy is happy! Skye is in desperate need for one. Between her having an ear infection and a hot spot, then me being sick the last few weeks she is a big bungle of fur and will be that way until after I return from Chicago next week.

Oh no, sorry to hear about your mother and more surgery. I will continue to pray.

Have fun tomorrow celebrating your daughters 20th birthday! Sounds like a fun day is planned.

  6. Happy Birthday to your daughter. The dogs always look so skinny after a good grooming. Strange thought just popped in my odd head - just think if we were furry like sheep, we could slim down with just a good grooming.

  9. Tucker got a grooming this week too. He gets those little knots too. I brush him but, when his fur gets to a certain length, it just mats up. Continued prayers for your mom.
