Bluegrass and Snow

After work last night, hubby and I went to a little local pizzeria for supper and some good bluegrass music. Our friends, the Haddix Family were the singers. They are so good and we love to go whenever we can to hear them.

Not necessarily the best picture, but nevertheless the singing and the food was awesome, as always.
We got up this morning to lots of snow.  Well, lots of snow to me.  We probably have about 4-5 inches.  Hubby is working at home, but brought me to work so I didn't have to drive, nor walk too far in the snow.  He's such a sweetie. Here are a couple of pics of what it looks like outside my work windows.

It's supposed to drop down really cold tonight, so I'm glad the roads seem to be drying up pretty well.  Maybe there won't be to much ice.

So, how's the weather in your neck of the woods?

  1. I'm so glad the snow didn't get us. Though our middle g-son is coming up this weekend for his 5th birthday & that's all he asked for is snow... I'll send him your way.

  4. Well we had a few days of really cool weather for us....down into the 30's at night and no higher then 55 during the day. But we've heated back up these last couple of days 85!! It's nice in some ways but I am by no means ready for 80 degree weather, lol. Temps are supposed to drop back into the 60's by the end of the week. I read soo much about how many of our fellow bloggers deal with snow and honestly I don't know if I could. Maybe it's all in what your used to. Glad your hubby drove you in...your right, sounds like a sweet guy. Have a good week!

  5. I'm jealous of your snow. We got a very light dusting overnight last night ... just enough for it to swirl around the streets and driveways.

That was very sweet of your hubby to drive you to work so you didn't have to get out in much of the snow.
