Capture

Day 3 of the 31 Day Writing Challenge with a prompt from 5 Minute Friday. The prompt for today is "Capture."

Capture could go a couple different ways.  Cops capture bad guys and people capture memories with a picture.  In checkers you can capture another man's checker by jumping it.

I think the one I'll go with is capturing memories.  You can capture a good memory in life with a photo or maybe by writing about something that occurred.  For a long time I've enjoyed taking pictures and if you've been here before, you know I've used a lot of them on my blog. I love photos of my family and my friends. I love photos of vacations and just quiet times at home. And some of my favorite pictures to capture are those of the sky. Big bright blue skies and cloudy skies, and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I just love seeing and taking photos of God's great big beautiful creation. It never gets boring trying to capture His art work.

Now I'm hoping with this 31-day Writing Challenge that maybe I'll learn to enjoy capturing my thoughts in writing.  And maybe I'll be able to share my thoughts and memories more by writing them here on this blog.  And maybe in time, I'll even capture other people's attention with some of my writings.

  2. Well I can say you have definitely captured my attention with this 5 minute writing on a subject thing. I am temped to jump in to, but now I am behind, lol. But "capturing" the moments of our life is kind of what this blog experience is all about for me!

  3. The fall sky is probably my favorite of all the seasons. We've had so much rain, but I'm looking forward to some clear blue skies before winter officially arrives.
