Mammograms

Well, today is the day for my annual mammogram. I have to be honest, I was not good about having my mammograms before. But after this past year, I can guarantee I'll never do that again. So here I am in the waiting room waiting to see the doctor. The test is done and I should be getting the results soon. I'll be back after that.

I'm back. All is good!  Praise you Lord. She is happy with my healing progress and I'm praising God and giving Him all the glory.

I made my appointment for next year's mammogram. Not going to miss them anymore.

Now, what about you?  If it's been a year or more, don't wait. Make your appointment right now!  I know they can be uncomfortable. But trust me. It is much less so than all the treatments and surgery I've been through in the last year. Please learn from my mistake and don't do what I did. I really care about all of you who might read this. So take care of yourself and get your mammogram!!

  1. So happy to hear that your mammogram came back clear, Cathy...praise God! I have been getting yearly mammograms since I was 35 due to my mom having breast cancer.

  3. I have been having mammograms since I was 36. I am faithful each year and thankful as the mammogram detected breast cancer in its earlier stages and now I am 13 years out free and so thankful. I am happy for you that you are clear. I don't mind mammograms, dental cleanings and doctor appointments because they're for my good and soon over.

  6. I'm so glad for you. I'm sure every check up will be a little holding the breath moment.
Not sure I told you - they found a spot on my last mammogram -I had to go back for more tests - & now they are watching it - so I'll be getting mammograms every 6 months for awhile. Fun stuff. :/
