I am so thankful for the trip hubby and I took last week.  God was to good to us.  We had mostly great weather with just a little rain.  Most days just a long sleeve shirt was warm enough and the most we every wore was a hoodie.  That is my favorite kind of weather.  We saw beautiful scenery and ate some good food and just relaxed and had a great time.

Here are a couple of photos of our trip from my phone.  I haven't downloaded the camera to my computer yet.

This was at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge.  I walked their track several times while we were there.

I love creeks in the mountains

The Apple Valley Cafe had delicious chicken salad croissant.  We both loved it.

Had to get a picture of this.
I'm thankful too that even though you could see the damage the fires had done, it wasn't as bad a I feared it might be.  There is still much beauty to see all over.

  4. It makes my heart so happy to see Gatlinburg still THERE!!! Whew... that was way too close for comfort with that fire.
& you are right - that cool weather is always the perfect weather to venture around the town!
