Thankful Thursday

Things I'm thankful for right now:

** Our spring Bible study starts in just a few weeks. Looking forward to do Kelly Minter's "Finding God Faithful."

** The ladies in our Bible study group.  They are the most awesome women.  I love how they post prayer requests and you just know everyone is praying for you.  Some of the sweetest ladies I know.

**  It's been almost 4 years since I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer.  I am so blessed to still be here and to be cancer free as far as we know.  There were so many people all over the world praying for me at that time (including some of you) and you will never know how much that meant to me and my hubby.  Just so blessed to be apart of the family of God.  Can't imagine how people live without relying on God.

**  Pandora radio - I'm currently listening to a station I've made up of mostly Southern Gospel Music, which is my favorite and also plenty of contemporary music mixed in.

**  As always, I'm thankful for my hubby, both girls and my grandson!  And as Stacy says, I'm thankful for each one of you!

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!!

  1. What a blessing to be healed of cancer and able to share that blessing with others who may be struggling and wondering if there is hope. You give them hope. Thank you for sharing that. Love your list of things you are thankful for. I will have to write mine tonight. I forgot about it last night, and today is busy, but I am thankful for that too!

  3. Has it really been almost 4 years?? Wow. The time has flown. I joining you in praising the Lord for seeing you through your battle and bringing you out on the other side a survivor! What a blessing! And I am right there with you...my Bible study group brings me much joy. Have a blessed day, Cathy!

  4. FIRST, big congratulations on beating the C-beast!
I, too, am so thankful for the amazing ladies in our Bible Study group. Coming from the Big City, I was unaccustomed to their sincere generous spirits. Even my Tom was a bit taken aback when he learned so many people he's never met were praying for him.
