Sometimes I have trouble thinking of things to put on this post. It's not that I'm not thankful for everything I'm given, but sometimes it's just hard to think of things to post. So while these may be just everyday things in some respects, I'm still thankful for them.
** The air we breathe and the ability to breathe. It's not so easy for some people.
** The beauty we see in nature most every day. I know there are some who would be so grateful just to have their eyes opened to see a tree just one time.
**The music of the birds and just music period. So many have never heard anything.
**The voice of my grandson on video chat saying "Gigi, I want to show you something." and then running off with the phone and taking me who knows where.
I know that I am so blessed and I love God for blessing me in so many ways, big and small.
So what are you thankful for?
Cathy
So many thing to be thankful...and how precious of your grandson, grin. Have a beautiful day friend.
ReplyDeleteYes, there are so many things.
DeleteWhat a beautiful magnolia tree! Thanks for sharing some of the beauty of God's creation with us today!
ReplyDeleteI agree that's it's beautiful. It is in a neighbor's yard in our subdivision. I think it gets prettier every year.
DeleteIt's those little things that make the biggest impact in our lives. The Magnolia trees around here aren't pretty any longer. Those 75 mph winds the other night blew the blossoms to smithereens! How sweet to have an adventure with your grandson. :)
ReplyDeleteThis one may not be either. I'll have to check this afternoon.
DeleteAmen - I keep taking DEEP BREATHS & knowing in this crazy time where a virus is attacking lungs - it is a TRUE blessing
ReplyDeleteYes, it is.
DeleteIndeed yes! May we never take those things for granted! That we can see, hear, breathe, think, etc. are gifts from God for sure!
ReplyDeleteYour little grandson is a cutie. I love that he took you with him around his house!
It really was so funny! He did the same thing to his papaw a night or two later except he was outside and buckled "him" in the swing and gave him a push. lol
DeleteOh yes, all of the above. I wish I had a young grandson again to want to show me things. Our only grandson is 20, and we rarely get to talk to him anymore, and he is so far away (Maine). So cherish these precious times with your grandson. Keep that bond close. It is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHe's really far away (Texas and we're in Ohio), but we try to keep close as much as we can. I hope you get to talk to your grandson soon. Happy Easter
DeleteLovely.
