Wednesday Hodgepodge
1. Has spring sprung in your part of the world? How can you tell? Did March come in like a lion where you live? Going out like a lamb or something more ferocious?
Yes, spring has sprung here in southern Ohio. I can tell because I saw my first dandelions this past weekend. Actually, I think we've had a very mild winter and spring is just slowly rolling in.
2. The last thing that caused you to spring to your feet?
Well, at this stage of life I don't do a lot of springing. lol But probably it would be at work when I receive a 911 emergency call.
3. Do you have a spring clean to-do list? What's one chore on the list you've already managed to accomplish? What spring clean chore do you most dread?
I don't really have a list, but I do have many things I hope to get accomplished. Since I'm still working full time during all this pandemic I'm doing well just to keep up with the normal chores. Probably what I dread the most is just doing a deep cleaning of everything in the house, wiping down walls and ceilings and washing windows, etc.
4. Tell us something you've learned about yourself or the wider world as a result of social distancing/the virus crisis.
That I really do enjoy being in my home and I don't need to run around near as much as we always have.
5. Something you love that's the color pink?
A beautiful pink sky.
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Lord, help me to do this today.
Thank you for visiting here today.

DeleteI didn't think of pink skies but they are beautiful! That is a great answer. Thank you for working and serving during this time.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm so glad I am able to.
DeleteThose pink skies are always a treat. I'll try to make someone smile today. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you too!
DeleteYou just made ME smile. Love the pink skies. Thank you for your work at the police dept. Praying with you as you answer those 911 calls. May God give you grace and wisdom and strength to handle each new crisis. May your day be filled with joy and blessings.
ReplyDeleteThat is the only way I can handle these things is with God's help. I'm also blessed to only have to do this just 2 days a week. Thank you for your prayers.
DeleteLove the smile quote, Cathy, it sure works well, especially in times like this, enjoyed reading your answers.
ReplyDeletestay safe.
Sue

ReplyDeleteKathy (Reflections)
Hi Kathy. I've missed seeing you on your blog. Take care my friend!
DeleteI'm fascinated/envious of your work, Cathy. But at the same time, I'm not so sure I could keep my composure on a 911 call. Don't care if they are technically weeds -- I love the dandelions!
ReplyDeleteI've been dispatching since I was 19. Full time for the first 15 years or so and now I'm an administrative assistant and assist only 2 days a week. I love the yellow dandelions too.
DeleteSuch gorgeous skies! God's artistry always shows up so beautifully in the sky.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Day or night I love the skies!
DeleteYes a dandelion is a sure sign! We have never been big Spring cleaning people. I try to keep things clean throughout the year. However I don't do a very good job anymore. Exactly, it's not so bad being home. Love your photos and your random thought. Take care and stay well.
ReplyDeleteI'm not real fond of cleaning anytime! lol Take care of yourself my friend. Hope your dad is doing okay.
DeleteA pink sky - yes - I forgot about that. That does make my heart happy.
ReplyDeleteAlways!
DeleteThe sky is so pretty! Yes I agree, we don't have to go out as much and it is okay. Of course online shopping helps out! :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree. Love shopping online. I just bought some books to record a video reading to him. Did one last night and his mommy says he loved it.
DeleteGorgeous skies, thank you for the pictures.
