If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. Are you currently making plans of any kind? Yes What kind? Planning time off for the next 2 weeks while my daughter and grandson are in Ohio.  What emotions are associated with the planning process? Excitement to get to spend time with them in person and not on Video Chat. Tell us about one plan you had to cancel due to the current situation which shall remain nameless. We had planned to take a trip to Gatlinburg a couple of months ago, but noooooo!  Ha!

2. Last time you saw stars, either literally or figuratively? Last night.  I see them almost every night when walking the dog just before bed.  I love looking at the stars.  It's a wonder I don't trip over the dog, because I'm almost always looking up at the sky.  Last night there was a bunch of heat lightening which was also very cool.

3. Blueberries yay or nay?Yay! Blueberry pie, blueberry muffins, blueberry yogurt, blueberries by the handful...what's your pleasure? All of them! But especially by the handful.

4. swim against the tide, swimming upstream, in the swim, sink or swim, makes your head swim...choose one of the 'swim' idioms listed and tell us how/why you relate? Makes your head swim, because this morning (Tuesday when I wrote this) I got to work and then started with the flashing lights in my vision which means a migraine is probably coming.  I never got the pain (Thank you God for answering my prayer) however, I did feel pressure and a little swimmy head.

5. Sum up your June in a single sentence.
June has been okay compared to the earlier months of 2020.

6.  Insert your own random thought here.

  1. I hope you are feeling better now. I have never had them but I had a friend who suffered terribly from migraines. Hopefully yours has gone now.
I LOVE your quote at the end; just how I am feeling at the moment as I am soon to turn 50.

    1. Thank you. I am good. I’m 62 and totally agree it’s not too late. That C S Lewis was a wise man. Thanks for visiting.

  3. Those vision challenges sound frightening, indeed! Having uninterrupted one-on-one time with your daughter and grandson sounds like such fun. A few years ago I learned my lesson about tilting my head back to watch the stars … grew dizzy and nearly fell on my backside. LOL!

    1. Oh my goodness...I can just see that happening to me! lol

Fortunately I don't get those problems too often anymore. I was just a young girl the first time I had one. I didn't know until later what they were.

  5. How exciting to be able to reach out and touch your sweet family after all these months. What a blessing. I am so glad the migraine didn't materialize. I was a victim of frequent migraines before having a cervical fusion a few years back. I have not missed a singe headache. I also used makes my head swim for different reasons.

  6. I'm so excited for you. Enjoy their visit. Clouds during the day and the stars and moon at night, love them all. Me too with blueberries! I'm glad the pain didn't come. Love your random thought.

  8. That's just fantastic to get to spend time with your family. I don't see that many stars, but then, I'm not out in the dark much either. I'm so sorry about your headaches, but glad this one dodged the bullet.
