Thanks for visiting and I hope you have a great day!
Cathy
I just made a pot of tortilla soup for tonite's dinner. I love the change in menu that happens with the change in seasons. Another rainy day here too but it's not 57 lol. Still humid but at least it's looking like fall!
ReplyDeleteTortilla soup sounds delicious too!
DeleteMMMM, Chili! I could use a bowl of that. HOwever, our son that still lives at home doesn't like chili for some odd reason (he doesn't like the beans), so we rarely have it. He does like stews and soups, however, so that's a fall menu item here. Loved your pictures and quotes, etc. Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteOh should make it anyway. Make him a small amount without the beans and then add the beans for yours.
Delete#2 -- really? Not sure why, but I'd have guessed the opposite. Love the red leaves best, too! Have you ever put cheesy scrambled eggs in your bowl of chili? It's 😋.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I have a really loud voice and I always have. When the 5 of us kids would be playing or fighting, it was always my name that was hollered out by mom, because, of course, I was the loudest. Plus they didn't call me Chatty Cathy without reason. lol
DeleteNo, I've never heard of adding an egg to chili. We do add spaghetti or Macaroni and then top with cheese.
Chili is one of my favorite fall meals too... especially since my husband is the chili maker in our family so it's a meal I don't have to cook!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny! Hubby makes ours too and that's another reason I like it, just like you. lol
DeleteGreat quote! Lots of us like chili and cornbread when the temperatures turn cooler! Joyce gave us another fun Hodgepodge! xo
ReplyDeleteYes, she did!
DeleteI had chili the other night, it was a leftover in the freezer. I like your quote. That is on beautiful tree. Love your random too!
ReplyDeleteLove your quotes. I love chili too! We had taco soup the other day.
ReplyDeleteGreat quotes. I am going to pin them both. And what a blazingly beautiful tree you captured in your photo last fall. Hope your trees will soon be ablaze again. Your weather is certainly fall-like already.
