Weekend Wrap-Up

This has been a knitting kind of weekend. I completed a hat for my cousin. She bought the yarn and I made it. Still had some left over, so I made her a headband/earwarmer too.

This was rather strange yarn.  In the skein it looks like it's got a lot more color, but the black and while section, must be the larges.  I never did seem to get to the purple.

Again, this section of  the yarn was mostly black.  If you enlarge, you can see some of the pink thread in it.

Then I took some of my scraps of yarn from other projects and made this child's hat.  I really like this one because of the mix of colors.  Hoping some little girl will really enjoy wearing it.

Pinks and Purples
On Saturday, Kerri and I went out for breakfast and then some wedding shopping.  Bought a few things, but mostly just had fun being together.  This is the first time in a long time that just the 2 of us went out shopping.  Lots of fun!!  Unfortunately, no pictures.  I think we were just too busy talking!  lol

On Sunday, we had 2 really great services.  Love worshiping with those people!!

So, how was your weekend?

  2. A little mom and daughter bonding? I remember doing that a lot as we prepared for DD's wedding. Now that there are 4 littles in the picture, we don't get to do that as much as we used to ... I miss those times together.

  3. That yarn looks so soft! Glad your doing well with the etsy store! I would be excited with every sale too! Saw the pics of your puppy, she is still just as cute as ever! It seems the sunrise and sunsets are extra spectacular in the winter! Stay warm!
