Five Minute Friday is where we are given a prompt and we write for five minutes with no need to edit and then we link up here and share our post and read and comment on other people's' posts.
The prompt this week is: Work
Go:
Work - a job or place of employment. I have had the same employer for the past 41 years. However, my work has not always been the same. I worked as a dispatcher for many of those years and then a records clerk and now an administrative assistant. At times the work has been stressful (especially as a dispatcher), but it's been a good job and I'm thankful for it.
Stop
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,”
Colossians 3:23 NIV

They are really small, but they are very good. Just waiting for them to ripen. I'd love to see the real Statue of Liberty some day.
DeleteWow, 41 years with the one employer is impressive! And I loved the photos, especially the Statue of Liberty in your neighbourhood!
ReplyDeleteI have a bowl full of green tomatoes, too... The last of our bounty. 41 years is a long time to work for the same employer. Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYes, 41 year is a long time. But it's been a good life.
DeleteThe sky pictures are so pretty and I love fried green tomatoes!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mary and I love them too, but unfortunately I can't seem to make them.
ReplyDeleteHello, Cathy. I found you from the Goose Hill Farm blog. I too am a pastor's wife. It's so exciting to "meet" you and read a bit about your life. You're a great photographer!
