Thankful Thursday

Things I am thankful for this week:

***time to walk with the puppy under some beautiful blue skies

***went to a sleep study doctor for a consultation as my regular doctor thinks I have sleep apnea.  I'm pretty sure he is right.  Will be having a sleep study done in early February.  Thankful for how much a cpap machine has helped my hubby and hoping it will help me too.

***again some more beautiful skies

So what are you thankful today?

Cathy

  1. Oh my gosh ... that flag photo is wonderful! I wish my hubby would consider a sleep study. (One thing at a time.) I'll be looking forward to hearing about your experience for sure.

    1. I'll be sure to put it out here. They say it can help with a lot of things and I am truly hoping I'll have more energy through the day and not wake up still sleepy. It's supposed to help with blood pressure and other things as well.

  2. As I get older, staying asleep all night is getting harder for me too. It's a good thing you are addressing it by going to the doctor now. Here's to getting good nights of sleep in 2020! :)

  3. My dad was also so against a CPAP machine - but when his sleep apena got so bad he had to have it, he said he wished he got it years earlier. It gave him the best sleep.

    1. My brother was on one for years and liked it. Hubby has just been on one for a few months and thinks it definitely helps him. I'm kinda looking forward to it. I hate waking up and still feeling tired.

  4. Good for you! We had studies done but our insurance won't cover all of the cost of getting the machine. I think I can do without, but I really believe a lot of my husband's issues are related to sleep apnea. He refuses to get the machine because we'd have to pay a big chunk of the cost.

  5. I'm thankful my dad is feeling better. He has had a few bad days recently. I love the photos and I hope all goes well with your testing. Enjoy your weekend.
