Thankful Thursday

Click above to link up.

Today I am thankful:

*** that we are still well  and so far as I know all of my friends and family are too.

*** that today is Thursday and it's getting closer to the weekend.  I'm thankful for my job and that I'm still working, but I am so ready for this week at work to be over.  It's been a bit stressful.

*** that I was asked to help make these for my sister's church who is making masks for many medical facilities and hospitals in our area.  Turned in 29 yesterday and I thought we were done, but we decided to see how many more we could make for one more week for them.  So blessed to get to help someone else.

***hubby just texted me that he had a pop-up on his reminders that it's 200 days until our Myrtle Beach trip 2020.  Cannot hardly wait!!  lol

***and as Stacy always says, I am thankful for each one of you.

Have a blessed day.

  1. And I am thankful for you, Cathy. Thank you so much for all you are doing. My sister works in a hospital and she said all of their ears are getting sore from wearing the masks. I told her I would make her one of those straps. Maybe I should make a bunch to send to her for her co-workers too.

  2. Aw...sweet to be quoted. And I am thankful for you! I love those little mask holders...much more stylish than the suggestion I'd seen to use a paperclip. Oh boy, a vacation! That sounds wonderful and I am praying this stupid virus doesn't mess it up.

    1. We actually had one planned for the end of this month, but that was cancelled. Hopefully by November things will be settled down.

  4. I'm pretty sure that in 200 days, things will be open again and you will be able to take that trip. Good thing you hadn't planned it for April or May.

    Blessings to you!

    1. Actually we had a short trip to the Smoky's planned and had to cancel that, but that's okay. If we can do the Myrtle Beach trip, it'll be good.

  5. I looked up those straps & YES - I need to make one. My friend made me a Belle mask & the rubber bands on it hurt my ear - these are perfect!!! Thanks for giving me the heads up on them!

    1. They work up really quick and easy. In fact, sewing the buttons on is the hardest part. lol
