If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Wednesday Hodgepodge

Click above to link up.

1. Expect the unexpected on From This Side of the Pond. Here's my x-ray question...when was the last time you felt like Superman? What's your superpower? Explain.
I'm not sure I've ever felt like Superman and I don't have a superpower.  I'm one of those people who is "okay" at a lot of things, but not particularly "super" at anything.

2. Are you a fan of the 'superhero' type movies? If so what's your favorite?
I've never really watched too many of them, but probably Superman would be my favorite.

3. Have you postponed or cancelled a trip to the dentist in recent weeks, and if so when do you think you'll feel comfortable going back? How about other routine medical procedures?
I have not postponed an appointment (but the doctor's office did), but I have postponed making an appointment.  I'll probably wait until June (same thing with an eye appointment).

4. What's something that makes you feel youthful? Something that makes you feel 'not so youthful'? Tell us why.
My Grandson to both questions.  Young because I love to play and color and read with him and old because I wear down so fast when doing it.  lol

5. I feel compelled to include some sort of corona related question in the HP these days. What's the strangest thing you've seen in relation to the virus? Something that really struck you as odd, made you stop and think, 'Dorothy we're not in Kansas anymore?'
Some of the photographs of people on FB have been pretty strange.  Wondering why workers were mandated to wear face masks before, but now that they are opening stuff up some they are being mandated.  It's okay and I'm sure there's a reason, but it does make me go hmmm??

6. Insert your own random thought here.
And that's the truth!!

  3. I found new rules that weren't in place before things opened strange myself. Your cartoon gave me a chuckle. Thanks.

  4. I heard that "normal" was just a setting on the clothes dryer...and whatever we thought was normal before won't be normal anymore...we will now have to live in the "new normal". I think you are a super hero...anyone who works at a police department in any capacity is a super hero in my opinion!! So there...and you are a Pastor's Wife...that truly does make you a Super Hero!! I know, because I've been one...and it definitely takes super powers to do it with a smile all the time! LOL. God bless you my friend.

  5. Yes to Superman! Funny how little kids can make us feel both youthful and not so youthful. I love your pretty blog background :)

  6. I liked your answers. I think face masks are going to be important for a long time. I know I'm going to keep wearing one when I'm out. It's not going to be easy getting appointments when things start to open up. Take care and stay well.

  7. I'm glad I had my children when I was young : ) SO much fun now, but I do not have the stamina I did a few years ago.

  9. I am so glad my grandchildren are all grown and don't require my getting up and down. "New normal" will become one of the most misused and abused phrases in 2020. The other will be "level the curve."
