Things I am thankful for:
**Mammogram -- good results. Interesting story. The lady that did my mammogram told me she is 75 years old and has been doing this for 56 years. She was amazing! I thought being 63 and working 45 years was good. lol She told me I was too young to retire. Then rewarded myself with a drink from Starbucks after being a good girl and getting my mammogram again. lol
**Time to Crochet and Knit in the evenings.

**Visit with my hubby's mom on Mother's Day.
**Great chicken salad at the Walmart Deli. I've seen it before but never bought it. I picked some up Monday night and it is absolutely delicious. I've been eating it for lunch on low carb bread and man I've enjoyed it. I'll be buying this again for sure.
**Loving this beautiful Lilac Bush outside my window at work. Unfortunately I can't see it from my desk, but I see it every morning when I come in. Finally stopped this morning and took a picture.

Thanks for the tip about WM's chicken salad! I love it, but have never tried theirs. Congrats on the mammogram results! I'm scheduled for later this month and nervous as can be. I didn't go last year on account, well you know. The nurse practioner said, "NO-one wanted to go ANYwhere last year."
ReplyDeleteI think I am due for mine this year. I have gained weight and so have "the girls" I hope this won't make the test painful. Glad you celebrated at Starbucks!
ReplyDeleteI had my mammogram last week too! And a bone density test. I haven't gotten the results yet, but I don't anticipate anything unusual. I've never tried WM chicken salad. I am glad to hear it is good. I am not a huge WM fan, so I tend to be suspicious of most of their "fresh food" stuff, LOL. So it is good to know it is good. I may have to try it now. That lilac bush is beautiful! How I wish we had lilacs here in Florida. Give it a good sniff for me, okay? Thank you! I hope you have a great rest of your week.

ReplyDeleteThat woman might catch up with one of the CNA's I worked with at the nursing home. She was 80!!! God bless them for being able to work for so long and for loving it! That will definitely not be me. lol By the way, good for you getting the mammogram done. I need to do that. I'm overdue. Beautiful lilac!
