Today I am remembering my mom and dad and I am very thankful for them and the life they gave me. They taught me to love Jesus and I thank them for that most of all.
Today is both mom and dad's birthday and their anniversary. Dad would have been 93 today and mom would have been 88 and they would have been married 71 years. I miss them so much and would love to see them and talk with them again, but would never ask for them to come back. No way would I want them to leave heaven for even a minute. So instead I will wait until I get called home and will get to spend all eternity with them.
Happy Birthday and Anniversary in Heaven, Dad and Mom. I love you!

How fun that they shared the same birthday AND got married on that date! Kinda hard to forget!! They look like wonderful people and I know they raised a wonderful daughter! Thanks for sharing their special day with us!

ReplyDeleteHow cool that they shared a birthday and then got married on the day too! My mom and dad's birthday's were close...only 2 days apart, but they got married months apart from the birthdays. You parents sound wonderful and it's awesome that they taught you to love Jesus. What a gift and a blessing!
