It's come back again. That time of year when everything gets really hectic and summer's gone.
KJS had her first volleyball practice last night. By the way, she did really awesome in practice (not that I may be prejudiced or anything). Open house for her is Thursday evening. School starts Monday.
KLS had the class part of Driver's Ed last week and got a 98% on her written test (just missed one). Woohoo! She goes tomorrow to pick up her schedule for her Senior year. (when did she grow up so much?). Her school starts next Wednesday.
Our Women's Bible Study starts tonight. We're doing Beth Moore's "Living Beyond Yourself" on the Fruit of the Spirit. I'm really looking forward to this. I think it's one I need. I definitely need to learn to live beyond myself. I fall short in so many ways and I need the Lord to fill me and live in me more and more. How about you?
As you can tell, the rush has started, but I think it's great and I'm looking forward to an exciting year of growth and change for us.
Yea, my rush has already started too. Goodness, I feel like a chicken running around with it's head cut off.
ReplyDeleteI guess you feel my pain, huh? =0)

All the best as the new school year starts... and patience while your daughter learns to drive! ~Maria
Yes, the summer is ending fast and I can hardly believe it! It always flies by.
ReplyDeleteI have done a couple of Beth's Bible studies and I think you'll like this one.

ReplyDeleteAh, yes the fall is here. Well the school part of it is.
ReplyDeleteI got a letter stating that our district may go on strike. It is our first year in school and the kids are so excited to get started.
Oh well, we'll just get started later.
