If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

A to Z Challenge - Letter Z

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah is how I'm feeling today as I will be arriving in Florida real soon!!

Have a great day and I'll see you all in a week or so.  I'll pretty much be off blogging while we're gone.  I need a bit of a break.  You can check me out on Instagram or FB if you want to see pictures from the trip.  Links are in my sidebar.

Friday Fragments

Half-Past Kissin' Time

If you're looking for my A to Z Challenge for Letter V, click here.

I can't believe I forgot Friday Fragments.  It's lunch time and I just went through the drive-thru at McD's with hubby and he dropped me back off at work and I sat down to eat and read a couple posts and lo and behold, I saw a Fragment post and remembered that I forgot.  How's that for a really long run-on sentence?  haha

Anyway, I think my whole life is fragmented right now.  What with planning for our trip next week and working and everything.  But I have to say even though its fragmented, I'm still having a good time.

I think we've decided that our puppy, Lucy, has ADD.  She is absolutely hysterical all the time.  She heads out to go potty and then sees a cat, or a squirrel, or a bird and she is completely distracted.  Sometimes she even stops mid-squat.  Wow!  She can almost make me tired just watching her.  She runs around the house in the evenings like she is half wild.  But I will say, she keeps me laughing.  I've laughed more in the past 5 months than in a really long time.  She is the greatest.

Here's a video of her playing with her pink bunny she got for Easter.  The way she flashes in and out of the picture is a bit of a clue.  haha

Don't forget to join in for Mrs. 4444's Fraggin' Fantastic Tercentennial Celebration. Click the button below to play along.  Of course, if you don't, that just gives me a better chance to win one of the prizes.  haha

Wednesday Hodgepodge

If you are looking for my A to Z Challenge post for today, it's directly below this post.

Click the button to the left, if you'd like to play along with the Hodgepodge.

1. April 22nd is Earth Day. Are you inspired by nature? In what way?
So many things in nature make me thing of God and by that I'm inspired.  When I see the ocean, I  think how big He is and I remember the words to the 3rd verse of the song, "The Love of God":

Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above,
Would drain the ocean dry.
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.

Also, when I see the night sky and all the stars, it just makes me wonder that He made all of these galaxies of stars just for us.  Amazing!!

2. Down to earth, four corners of the earth, move heaven and earth, not have an earthly chance, or salt of the earth...which earthly idiom have you most recently encountered? Explain.

Maybe four corners of the earth as we will be traveling next week to go to Kelli's graduation and we plan to also spend some time on the east and west coasts of Florida.

3. Share one piece of advice you might give a newly engaged couple.
Do not expect to change your partner.  Let them be who they are and love them that way.

4. When did you last engage someone to perform a job, task, service, home repair, or improvement? On a scale of 1-10 (ten being the best) how would you rate their work and/or your satisfaction with the job or service provided?

We called and had some replace our garage door opener.  They did an excellent job and I'm totally pleased.  So glad to have it working again so I can park my car inside.  We had to go a couple weeks without being able to open it.

5. When did you last find yourself engaged in small talk? Are you awkward or an expert or somewhere in between?

I'm not very good at it at all.

6. What was the last historic place you visited?
I can't really think of any place recently. However, we went to Gettysburg a few years ago.  Loved it and hope to go back.  Oh also, Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains.  We went there last summer.

7. The world would be a better place if we just obeyed God!

8. Insert your own random thought here.
Kelli got her cap and gown early and took some pics.  Isn't she just the cutest?!?

Half-Past Kissin' Time

I love Friday Fragments.  Although, I must say I forgot about them this week until just now.  Lunch time at work.  So anyway, here's a few things.

*I got my copy of "Frozen" in the mail yesterday.  I saw it in the theater, but now I know the music and I can't wait to see it again.  Kerri is coming over to spend the night tomorrow night and I think this is what we'll be doing.  Yay!!  I love a movie night with my girls!!
