If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Thankful Thursday

Here are just a few things I'm thankful for right now:

**Hubby and I went to his parent's home and we spent some time just sitting and talking with his mom.  Any prayers you would want to send their way would be appreciated.  She's taking care of her husband as his health is getting worse.  Hospice has been called in and help where they can.  Hubby and his brother try to help as much as she will let them, but the biggest part of the care is on her. She sure amazes me.

**Went to the library for the first time in quite a while and checked out actual books.  Usually, I read on my Kindle or iPad.  It's nice for a change to read a "real" book.  Plus I just love our library.

**Have had Starbucks twice this week.  We typically don't go more than once or twice a month or even less.  But boy was it good.  Hubby even got his drink free the last trip because of the Star rewards we had earned.

**Thankful for my hubby for his easy to understand teaching on Wednesday nights on our Ask the Pastor Studies.  Last night was so excellent.  He taught us about Jewish weddings back in Bible times and then related it to the types and shadows between the old covenant with the Israelites and the new covenant with the church today.  Totally loved this. I had heard most of this, but he just made it so easy and clear to understand.  Sure love that man as my pastor, but even more as my husband.

So what are you thankful for this week?

Thankful Thursday

Things I am thankful for this week:

***time to walk with the puppy under some beautiful blue skies

***went to a sleep study doctor for a consultation as my regular doctor thinks I have sleep apnea.  I'm pretty sure he is right.  Will be having a sleep study done in early February.  Thankful for how much a cpap machine has helped my hubby and hoping it will help me too.

***again some more beautiful skies

So what are you thankful today?

I'm thankful for:

**There have been some issues we have been dealing with for my sister and I'm thanking God that it seems they are starting to come together and everything should be fine after this.  I can't even tell you how happy and relieved this makes me.  I'm also very thankful for my other brother and sister who makes most of this happen.  They are truly a blessing.

**My grandson -- he just makes me smile and so happy.  Love his little chocolate milk mustache in the picture below.

**the quiet New Years Eve night that hubby and I had.  We went out for dinner and then came home and relaxed for the night.  New Years Day we stayed home all day (which is a rarity for us) and I got some things done that I've been putting off for months, plus did some reading and watching TV.  As you can see in the below pictures, our Lucy was very happy to have us home with her.  I actually watched "The Lion King", which I haven't seen in years and it was really good.  I'm rather enjoying Disney+.  Then hubby and I (and Lucy) watched a really good documentary on Scott Kelly and his 1 year stay on the space station.  Very interesting stuff.

This morning I was checking FB and ran across the article below.  I thought it was really good and worth sharing here.

I am so thankful for all of my friends and family and for each one of you that read here and comment.  Hope you all have a blessed week.
