Friday Photos and SkyWatch Friday

Good morning on this lovely Friday.  Well, actually, it's not that lovely outside, but it is good to be awake and feeling good for another day on this planet.  I don't know what we're going to do today, but I'm sure we'll get into something.  So far, we slept in and I've done some reading.  Fixed myself some breakfast and for Lucy too and now it's time to do some blogging.  Here are a few photos from my week and some sky shots for SkyWatch Friday.

I wanted to see how my phone camera would do with a moon shot at night.
I definitely need to learn how to do a night shot.  But I still like this picture.

And the moon was still up after the sunrise.

Lucy and I took an afternoon walk and this flag was so pretty blowing
in the wind with the bright blue skies behind it.

Here are a couple of photos of the sky that I've taken in the last 2 weeks.  I love sunrises and sunsets and beautiful clouds.  Here are a few random shots I've taken with my phone when out walking with the dog.  I'm also linking up with SkyWatch Friday.

And last but not least is the dog, Lucy.  I know I already posted this picture,
but it's because of her mostly that I get out to take the other photos.

SkyWatch Friday and Friday Photos

Photo from our vacation for SkyWatch Friday.  I never tire of the beautiful skies over the ocean.

I've taken almost no photos this week, but below is a picture of hubby's and my Advent Study Books.  We get them from She Reads Truth/He Reads Truth.  This is our 3rd year doing this together.  Each day we read together.  The daily readings are identical, but some of the extra stuff, is a little different in the male and females books.  We really enjoying doing this together.  It starts this Sunday. 

We're taking the books today to have them spiral bound.

Thankful Thursday and Friday SkyWatch

 Today I'm linking with Thankful Thursday right here and with SkyWatch Friday right here:

I'm thankful for the beautiful weather we've been having until today.  Today is very gray and rainy.  I believe this is from Hurricane/Tropical Storm Nicole.  I think it's going to be like this tomorrow too.  But that's okay.  It's given me time to take a nap and read some and now watching Christmas movies.  Of course, I've done some of this most days anyway.

I'm thankful for my new Journaling/Coloring Bible.  I got it off Amazon about a few weeks ago and now because of the weather I have the time to do it.  But, I found out I color about like a 5 year old.  lol  But I'm still enjoying it.

Thankful Thursday and SkyWatch Friday

 I know it's Thursday evening...but better late than never.  I'm linking with Thankful Thursday and SkyWatch Friday.

I'm so thankful for:

**Safe travels to South Carolina.  Tuesday was a long day, but God protected us each mile of the way.

**Our beach front room.  I love stepping out on the balcony and seeing the ocean.

**Weather has been great since we got here...not too hot, nor too cold!

**A really good lunch today at Lulu's.  Lulu is Jimmy Buffet's sister and we love this place and will probably eat there a couple times more while here.

 I'm going to do 3 posts in one or at least try to link up with each of the above.  Seems like I've been pretty busy, so her I go!  Thankful Thursday link is here

This evening I am thankful that all my doctor's appointments are over until after our trip.  And all is good.  I found out at my oncologist's appointment that I've lost 11 pounds since my last visit.  Everything is good...Thank you, Lord!

Monday we had blood tests and several of my numbers have improved...so at least I'm heading in the right direction.

Chiropractor appointment this morning and that's always a good thing.  I've got a cold but I did a test and do not have the big C.  It's just a lot of chest congestion.  Hoping it will go away soon.  I think it's some better.  I'm thankful for all of the above.

This beautiful mum is at our church and it is from my mom's funeral in 2015 and keeps coming
up and blooming each fall.  Thank you Bonnie and Merle for taking care of it so well.

 Here are a few photos from our trip to Amish Country on Wednesday.  It rained off and on most of the day, but I was still able to get a few photos.  

This home is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't resist snapping a shot.

I stood out in the rain in order to get this photo.

We were in a store and I looked out the window and saw this beautiful tree in a cemetery.

The leaves are even beautiful lying on the ground.

I love this capture of the bird.  When I saw him he was sitting on the
curved branch at the top to the right and I stopped to take a picture
 and he flew off and this is what I got.  Gotta say I kind of like it.

Friday Photos and Skywatch Friday

I don't have many photos this week that I haven't already posted.  But last evening around 8:00 I took Lucy out and I thought the sky was so pretty in the dark.  So, I ran back inside and got my phone and snapped these 2 pictures.  I think the sky is one of my most favorite creations of God.  I'm also linking up with Skywatch Friday.
