Here Today!

 I've been contemplating stopping my blog, but I read Annie's post today (check it out here!) and decided to not close up shop yet.  I've been doing this awhile and sometimes feel I really have nothing else to say.  But as Annie says, there is always a song or a verse or something we can share and maybe it will help someone else (as her post did for me).

So today, I say hello and I am still here.  Life's kinda quiet and I seem to do the same things most days, but that's okay because I'm still alive and feeling better (been a little sick the last couple of weeks).  I'm still not 100%, but getting closer.  God is still good and that is all that matters!

I'm linking up with Friday Foto Friends.  I have really missed this the last couple of weeks.  I just haven't had very many pictures worth posting here.  But here are a couple from my week.

I didn't actually take this picture, but my daughter sent it and I think he is so adorable with his little sucker.  Look at those lips.  lol

This is our local city building and courthouse.  I love this old building.  I remember when I was a child it house a movie theater and I remember going there and seeing some Disney movies.

We had a beautiful day earlier this week and I was out walking the dog.  Just couldn't resist those blue skies and white clouds.

Thankful Thursday and Friday Foto Friends

I know, I'm really late, but I really don't want to skip it all together.  I'm trying so hard to be intentionally grateful and this helps so much.  So, click the button above to join in with Thankful Thursday even though it's Friday.  I'm sure Rebecca won't mind.  Here are some things I am thankful for:

*  Bev and I visited our sister Karen Saturday and I had so much fun just being with them and talking and playing with Karen's cat.  I'm so thankful we are able to spend time together.
*  Then Bev and I shopped for a bit and I bought a new crochet hook to try (one of the ergonomic ones) and I love it.  I think I'm going to pick up a complete set of them.
*  After that I went home and hubby and I watched the 3rd Harry Potter movie in our Saturday Harry Potter Marathon.  We do this about once a year or so and I really enjoy it and am thankful for the time with my hubby
*  Sunday I had the best afternoon nap.
*  It's also warmed up enough that the puppy and I have been able to walk some again.  We've both been missing it.
*  Tuesday evening we had dinner with the hubby's parents.  It was fun listening to my father-in-law reminiscing about old times.
