No More Nights - TSMSS
Why not click here and join Amy at Signs, Miracles, and Wonders for Then Sings My Soul Saturdays.
I'm looking forward to the time when they'll be no more tears and no more dying, just praising the Lamb of God!
The timeless theme, Earth and Heaven will pass away.
It’s not a dream, God will make all things new that day.
Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell.
Evil is banished to eternal hell.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
See all around, now the nations bow down to sing.
The only sound is the praises to Christ, our King.
Slowly the names from the book are read.
I know the King, so there’s no need to dread.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
See over there, there’s a mansion, oh, that’s prepared just for me,
Where I will live with my savior eternally.
No more night. No more pain.
No more tears. Never crying again.
And praises to the great "I AM."
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb.
All praises to the great "I AM."
We’re gonna live in the light of the risen Lamb.
It’s not a dream, God will make all things new that day.
Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell.

No more night. No more pain.

Then Sings My Soul Saturday
My cousin's husband sang this song last Sunday and I loved it so much, I wanted to share it with you. This is Michael English's version of "He Didn't Throw the Clay Away." I'm so glad He doesn't give up on me. I feel like I fail Him so often, but He's always there to pick me back up and keep on loving me.Please click on the TSMSS button above to listen to more beautiful music. Have a blessed day everyone.

I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do. It's one I've heard since I was a little girl I think. I remember a lot of these people singing it too. So many of them have gone home to be with the Lord and some day I'll get to hear them again up in Heaven. I remember when we were younger my mom and dad used to take us to hear some of these people sing. I loved them. And it seems we always had a record playing at our house with the Goodman's or the Rambo's or some others playing. This brings back so many memories for me and I hope it does for you too. Because really, where can I go, but to the Lord.

TSMSS-Mary Did You Know
I love to think of Mary having the privilege to kiss the very face of God. And some day, we'll see him face to face! Wow!! Part of me wants to stay here but I have to say part of me can't wait to be there!

TSMSS

I absolutely love this song. In fact, I got to see her perform this song last year at the Women of Faith concert in Columbus, OH. She is awesome. There's another song she does at the end of My Redeemer Lives. It's kinda fun to watch. Whoever recorded this did a good job at also catching the audience's reaction. Hope you enjoy it.
Here are the words to the song.
Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
And who told the ocean you can only come this far?
And who showed the moon where to hide till evening?
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?
Chorus:
Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation testifies
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives
Ye-e-eah
The very same God
That spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory
Now I know, my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I-I-I know
My Redeemer
He lives
To take away my shame
And He lives
Forever I'll proclaim
That the payment for my sins
Was the precious life He gave
And now He's alive and
There's an empty
Grave!
And I know
My Redeemer lives
He lives
I know
My Redeemer lives
Let all creation testify
Let this life within me cry
I-I-I know my Redeemer
I know
My Redeemer lives
*I know my Redeemer lives*
*I know, That I know, that I know, that I know, that I know
He lives
*my redeemer lives*
*Because He lives I can face tomorrow
He lives
*I know, I know*
He lives
*I spoke with Him this morning!*
He lives
*The tomb is empty*
He lives
*He Lives! I'm going to tell everybody!!*

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,
Calling for you and for me;
See, on the portals He’s waiting and watching,
Watching for you and for me.
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!
O for the wonderful love He has promised,
Promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,
Pardon for you and for me.
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!
Calling for you and for me;
See, on the portals He’s waiting and watching,
Watching for you and for me.
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!
O for the wonderful love He has promised,
Promised for you and for me!
Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,
Pardon for you and for me.
Come home, come home,
You who are weary, come home;
Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,
Calling, O sinner, come home!
I especially love the last verse. I love His mercy and that He pardons my sins. Thank you Jesus!

Then Sings My Soul Saturday
Click the TSMSS button to check out some more songs.I love to hear the Martins sing. They have such beautiful harmony together. I was listening to them on Youtube last night and found this song. Now, I've never heard it before, but the words are so true. Except for Faith. Hope you enjoy like I have.
You've lost it all, your
dignity and pride. A sinking
soul, swimming in the tears
you've cried. Alone and
hopeless, without a word to
say cause guilt has taken it
all away....
Except for grace, and your faith.
And knowing that God's love will
forgive mistakes. There's
nothing that can clear your
painful past, bare your bitter
pain. Or can ever take your
place. Except for grace.
We've all stood right where
you're at. Facing the shame of
failures and regrets. Leaving
us empty, broken, and afraid
to dream. Sin has stripped us
clean of everything.....
Except for grace, and our
faith and knowing that God's
love will forgive mistakes.
There's nothing that can
clear our painful past, bare
our bitter pain. Or can ever
take your place. Except for
grace.
The price is much too high for
us to ever pay. We could try
forever and find no other way...
Except for grace, and our
faith and knowing that God's
love will forgive mistakes.
There's nothing that can
clear our painful past, bare
our bitter pain. Or can ever
take our place. Except for
grace.

Then Sings My Soul Saturday

I absolutely love this song and this performance. I hope you enjoy it too. One of my favorite lines in this song is: "All that I've done before, won't matter any more." I love that. When we repent and turn away from our sins, God never holds any of them against us again. Thank you Jesus!

I've been seeing this meme on Mocha with Linda for weeks and weeks and totally enjoying it, so I went to Signs, Miracles, and Wonders who started it and joined in.
This is Anthony Burger and Roger Bennett playing "Gentle Shepherd" which is a beautiful song. Roger Bennett and Anthony Burger are two of my most favorite southern gospel pianists. Both have gone home to be the Lord, but some day in Heaven I'll get to hear them play again.

Gentle Shepherd, Come and lead us,
For we need you to help us find our way,
Gentle Shepherd, come and feed us,
For we need your strength from day to day
There's no other, We can turn to,
Who can help us face another day.

For we need you to help us find our way.
